Translating inverted in-game languages is an odd hobby, although if I remember correctly it's pretty much a direct letter to letter translation in EQ2 for most of the languages.

Iirc, EQ2 timeline is not the same timeline as in EQ1. I think the two timelines separated in PoTime, so god returning would not be such a problem if that's indeed the case. If any lore junky can confirm that...?

The time lines are no longer REQUIRED to synch up after PoP. It doesn't mean shit didn't happen, just that the team reserves the creative freedom to divert in the future should they choose (or to not divert, should a case arise where it would make more sense not too). For a vast majority of post PoP EQ1 lore, we've seen nothing to confirm or deny things either way. Prophecy of Ro, and to a lesser extent, probably the end of Depths of Darkhollow as well, was the first EQ1 expansion to directly conflict with the EQ2 timeline.
