I don't know...I don't always agree with The Black Hand's logic or reasoning on these boards, but saying that the Tier 3 is a "small upgrade" seems pretty weak, and I agreed with him this time. Maybe it's just me, but the Tier 3 sets look like pretty decent upgrades over the Tier 2 set and should lay to rest the "side-grades" debate.

However, The Black Hand's knowledge of the dark side of Internet Porn is still real, real scary.

The Warrior set looks fucking retarded. Enormous gay shoulders and yet another fucking helm with 2 horns sticking out of the side. You know, the same fucking helm as every other Warrior helm in the game. The helm would look so much better without the damn horns.

Might helm looked awesome. Wrath helm was designed by a fucking retard with a glue sniffing problem. Now Dreadnaught looks like a Helm of Endless Rage, which looks like a Lionheart Helm, which looks like the Horned Viking Helmet (duh), which looks like every fucking green plate helm in the game.

So Netherwind Robe to Frostfire Robe nets a grand total of:
+1 Sta
-8 Spirit
+5 Sta
-10 Fire
-10 Nature
+22 Armor
+1% chance to hit
+15 damage.

Ya-hoo?
Same fucking shit. Not a true tier upgrade by any stretch.. a little more than a sidegrade. Veer-grade!

Well I like the helm better than either might or wrath on Taurens.

Why is it so hard to make Undead spines/rib cages stay under the armor?

The base stats on the lock armor are barely better then the AQ, if even better at all. The only reason you would want to switch is for the set bonuses, which is where the real upgrade comes into play. I did notice they switched the warlock bonuses...they removed the stupid Curse of Doom bonus, removed the corruption requirement for vampire and made it the new 2 set, and added a nifty increase corruption damage by % (which is money depending on the % increase in damage).

In regards to the paladin set its an upgrade definately in the pure healing department but the loss of all + dmg, str, spr, and resists is kinda gay. Overrall you lose stats but gain a nice amount of healing. What irrates me is that Blizzard is simply trying to slow gear progression from raiding to a near standstill by not offering clear-cut upgrades when new raid zones are implemented that are signifcantly harder than previous ones. I'm not trying to make this into effort vs reward argument but I think it would be nice to add some ability to either take dmg better in the form of +def(we do have entire prot tree) on the new pally set or even some str/resists. The upgrade from tier 1 to tier 2 imo was a greater upgrade from 2 to 3 in most cases. Even then tier 2 is still going to be heavily used by many paladins when it is over a year older than tier 3 due to its + dmg/str with resists.

Yah, for pvp. As I sed though I'm still very very excited about tier 3 for healing. Im completely holy spec and always will be however it still is nice with having full tier 2 for pvp for the str/spell dmg.

Edit: This isn't a complaint. Just a wish for adding some more variety to the set. For pvp itd be nice to have some def or resists for the sake of survivability.

Well, they just gave an every support/healing class PvP set in AQ. Seeing as Naxx in an ultimate raid instance that should prepare us for BC, its only logical to see PvE set streamlined for main roles in PvE.

I thought +def has some pretty abysmal effect in PvP ?

Thats a good point. I understand their logic for doing so but it doesn't mean I like it =p Even then I dont get why they completely abandoned resists on it.
