Chance on Hit: Causes the target to be vulnerable to magic, increasing magic damage and effects against this target by up to 25. Lasts 20 seconds. Stacks 5 times.
Effect: Redundant if you have warlocks on a raid. I'll stick with -75 resistance and %10 bonus dmg from my curses, thanks. Any - resistance is useless once the mob hits 0. Plus anyone getting this has done AQ, which means they probably have the -resistance mods on their armors.

I'll stick with the +60 spelldmg aura, thx.

Erm... with 5 stacks, thats an additional +125 spell damage to the entire raid above and beyond warlock curse.

Quite good.

Legendary item looks like it does in previous lore, film at 11. It's not Blizzard's fault that Kel'thuzad is minimalist.

They did a good job with it, and like most WoW graphics it will look significantly better in-game than in screenshots.

Yeah....but there's a reason no one gives a rats ass about having a Moonkin in the group and thats because increasing crit percentage is DULL.
The reason no one cares about Moonkin is most of the time they need druids to heal, not nuke, so sure they can swap out to heal...and not have the aura on. Staff with persistant always on aura? Superfantastic.

Legendary items are just nicer epics. People need to stop looking at them as though they need to have permanent value, because no item should really, it makes no sense in an itemization driven game to make items which have incredibly long term value. This item to me falls in line with items of this quality, and by the expansion it should be replaced by statistically better staffs.

I think legendaries following the model of the staff are great - items that are very good in their own right but don't change the difficulty of encounters significantly (i.e. Thunderfury).

Jesus Tittyfucking Christ, what's it matter what it looks like? Think people use TF because it leaves lightning trails? I'm fairly certain people would use it if it had the same graphics as Rusty Dagger. Stats are all that matters and since no one has said specifically what they are, kind of hard to speculate. But group aura that adds damage? Er .. why isn't that good? Why's it have to be unique? Give me a weapon that looks like a giant pink dildo with "fag" etched in it and I'd use it if it had 100agi.

There are really far better games on the market if you want eye candy. I play wow to fuck people up and read their whines on server forums.

I'd equip it even if it looked like Grandpa from South Park sitting on top of dowel.

The point is, when your MT gets thunderfury, it changes things for the whole raid. He's going to cause more aggro, so dps can go a little harder, he's going to take less damage, so the healers job is a bit easier, and there's prestige associated with carrying a gigantic sword that leaves lightning trails everywhere.

When one of your casters gets this legendary, it's an upgrade and a great item sure. 10% of your raid will ever notice it's there. Not the same thing.

Some people would equip something that looked like that even if it had no stats.

What are the fucking stats on that pos staff? You expect us to mind read the stats while reading your post?

And also the "original" TF was a very bad mistake in itemization. It's still a bit bad but not as much at least. Not wanting to repeat the same mistake again is fine with me.

Ok, Thunderfury has a buffed version of Thunder Clap as a proc. It does indeed change the difficulty of some encounters. But what about Sulfuras, you know, the 1st melee legendary? Kind of like how this is the 1st caster legendary? The only thing the raid noticed about our first Sulfuras was the tUF warrior that won it pulled agro and died way more. Atleast 10% of the raid will be benefiting from this legendary rather than just adding a little bit of DPS to 1 guy.

I admit, it might actually be quite awesome now that I think about it!

Especially if it randomly called out, "Kill me, Billy!"
