I can understand that there are reasons for it, but I don't like decisions that reflect the technical limitations in such an obvious way. Whenever I look at a Raki, I get reminded of technical problems and suboptimal solutions and that's simply depressing. It's like "Sorry, we would have loved to give you a unique design, but the system memory ressource management priorities didn't allow it". The competition does not have these problems. Conan looks kickass right off the bat. How come people aren't picking on their graphics? Anyways, "agree to disagree" might become the phrase of the year ![]()

| Because no one expects Conan to do anything but suck.

Cutting-edge design has become more important than cutting-edge technology. There is a persistent belief among engineers that consumers want more power and more features. That is incorrect. Look at Apple's iPod, a device that didn't and doesn't do much more than the competition. It won because it's easier, and sexier, to use. Game designers could learn from that. | ||

+49 Internets | Conan's features are more then enough to make me forgive any graphical blemishes it might hold. Mounted beheadings, bar room brawls, insanity meter for magic users...they have alot of cool ideas that hopefully will translate well to the gameplay.

| I wish I could come down to the Sigil Studios for like a month, and just work on their female models. There are ways in which the models could be greatly improved, and I have a feeling something like that is low-priority at this time. It's a shame as well, as I have always love Keith's artwork and his human designs and I can't find that same visuall attention being paid to the models (even the males) as it looks now. I'm not sure where the art direction lapsed somewhere within Sigil, but I don't see the follow-through of the art in the current models. The Qalia female Keith designed was great.. I can't remember her name or find the painting now, but it would be great to see that in 3D, hi or low poly, it doesn't really matter.
