I've been keeping track (since i'm an asshole and have accomplished nothing noteworthy in my life) and since I was removed from beta for saying how bad the game sucks, there have been 7 different people who have said "I'm in beta and the game is great!" who haven't lost their beta accounts. Nairbog, comment please? They broke the NDA!

I broke the NDA, and a lot of what I said was dead-true... and summarily (and probably accidentally) bolstered by official statements by VG:SoH people (such as beta being run poorly - hence my ~100 number given on any certain night).

Let's look at this logically, shall we?

Microsoft has held onto several "sinking" ships in the past years just to establish market cred. Xbox? AC and AC2 (though one closed). I'm sure I could name a few more. What sort of problems could be happening between MS and Sigil that would cause such a "smash hit!" to be let go. It'll sell millions, right?! It'll be the next best thing for people who want a game over than WoW, right?! Then why the fuck is it not Microsoft's anymore?! You'd think a little leniency would be given if the game were Jesus on Microchips. Well it's not. We've seen that. 9 months into "beta" and 2 continents aren't out yet, the one that's out is on outdated tech that is as different as EQLive 1.0 to Depths of Darkhollow graphics. Hrm ok. Still missing classes that will be in at live, and several important key game mechanics. That's ok you say! We've still got 18 months of beta left!

Well, let's just hope they bust out the game of the decade to prove us wrong!
