| WoW PTR open with patch 1.10.2 World of Warcraft Client Patch 1.10.2 General * Guild Recruitment channel functionality has been improved to be turned off for players already in guilds, and turned on for players not in guilds by default. * Fixed a bug which caused players to drop from combat after destroying a totem. * Fixed a soft-lock bug that occurred under certain conditions when players were near ships, zeppelins, elevators, and the Deeprun Tram. Mages * Arcane Power: This aura will no longer stack with Power Infusion. If you use it, Arcane Power's aura will replace Power Infusion's aura. Paladins * Holy Shock will now be guaranteed to crit when used offensively while Divine Favor is active. * Eye for an Eye will now properly produce its damage effect on the attacking caster. Priests * Inner Fire: Rank 3 will no longer have charges consumed when Power Word: Shield is active. * Power Infusion: This aura will no longer stack with Arcane Power. If you attempt to cast it on someone with Arcane Power, the spell will fail. * Starshards: Ranks 1 and 2 inadvertently received too much bonus from spell damage, while Rank 7 received no bonus from spell damage. Each of those ranks are now fixed to receive the correct bonus. Rogues * Fixed a bug which prevented Vanish from working properly under certain conditions. * Seal Fate will now correctly provide a bonus combat point upon landing a critical strike. Warlocks * Improved Shadow Bolt will now proc properly after landing a critical strike with Shadow Bolt. Warriors * Rage generated from Unbridled Wrath and Shield Specialization will now display properly in the combat log. Mac * Fixed a client crash caused by weather effects when running OS 10.3.9. World Environment * Players should no longer become dismounted while riding through certain areas of the Undercity. * Fixed a number of clipping issues and awkward turns discovered throughout various chained flight paths. * Certain creatures in Eastern Plaguelands weren't providing reputation gain with the Argent Dawn. This has been fixed. |

+38 Internets | Its a secret nazi test realm. They'll lure us onto the test realm with promises of bug fixes and then the next thing you know, they'll turn loose their newest death weapons on us. We'll be sitting in CH testing PI and AP stacking when the first V2 rockets will hit. |

| What I find funny is the whole AP + PI thing, they SAID in 1.10 patch notes that they were supposed to stack; so did a post from Eyonix in the priest forums, and now 3 weeks after it's out they are reversing this. Don't they test shit?, if it was going to be this super omg overpowered why didn't they test it ? I mean, it's not like the 1.10 PTR's were live for a month... oh wait they were. Step 1: /setlevel 60 Step 2: /summon shitload+dmg gear Step 3: Spec AP Step 4: /cast Priest00 Power Infusion Step 5: PI Trinket AP POM Pyro Dev: "Um, that's not right, too much damage, scratch the whole AP + PI before 1.10 goes live, we don't want those mages with full tier 2 set which are like 0.0000000000000000001% of the server population to 2 shot people" Dev 2: "Got it, what about those new 2 handers and other assorted melee items?" Dev: "You mean those who can shred cloth to pieces? what about them?" Dev 2: "Well, don't you think if mages are getting that 2 shot every 3 minutes thingie nerfed, melees shuold have some of those high damage weapons nerfed?" Dev: "Who are you again? what are you doing here? get out."

+5 Internets | I knew I should have taken a screen shot of that 4600 crit on Rag ![]() The only problem now will be to force priests to ask before they PI you. For PvE, it won't make that much of a different I don't think. I'm pretty sure all the abilities that increase damage are only affecting base damage. Doing them at the same time or different will only reduce spike damage. I swear some of our priests cast this on mages just to see them die on trash when they aren't paying attention. I don't pvp much, but all the times i've seen that used in pvp, the priest used it on himself.

| The really do need a permanent test server. We told them time and again during beta to just keep the original beta server as a test server. :/

| There should be more frequent patches. I bitched about this probably over a year ago. There's no reason to hold over things that are ready. If there's a list of changes you can make that are about polished off then go ahead and get them ready to patch in instead of waiting 1-3 months for the next major patch. It should be common knowledge by now that there's always been fixes/changes that were tested and ready to be used, but they let them just sit there until the next major patch. Meanwhile there have been issues that increased player power in some way that they had no trouble hotfixing when it wasn't even Tuesday. |

| Ah, it seems this is more of a time-killing thing. Since we won't see the next patch until what would look like well after E3 though, it would have been a nice gesture to place the NR gear onto a mini-patch or something but such is life. Blizzard has pretty much always been slow (or deliberate if you prefer) in patching and I don't see much profit in complaining about it. Tseric tossed out: "I realize you don't want to wait, but 1.11 is a ways off, so we aren't exactly pressed for time. As for the rest of your comments, I realize things have been slower as of late. I often find myself doing more reading than posting due to volume and time available. When things slow down after E3, I look to make a more regular circuit of class forums."
