If I make wowserverforums.com will you use it?

Simple question. If I make it, will you use it?

The basic idea is that there's a forum for each wow server. These forums are moderated by the community of each server. Server moderators will at first be elected by myself, then with polls later. Each specific server forum can be accessed by the subdomain of it's name IE: http://hyjal.wowserverforums.com or http://black-dragonflight.wowserverforums.com.
All US and international servers would be present.

You can see the concept at http://www.ddoservers.com/forums and http://www.vanguardservers.com/forums

An example of a server subdomain link is http://adar.ddoservers.com

The community moderators for each server will be able to fully customize the forums, forum rules, appearance, etc for their server. Each server will be required to have at least 1 forum where anybody that has registered can post.

Why switch? I don't know. I'm just willing to set it up if it sounds useful.

Let me know what you think. I understand the hosting implications of this and I have the hardware and network infrastructure in place for it to expand. If the poll goes well, I'll set it up and migrate the fohguild.org user database over to it so that people don't have to re-register if they don't want to. You don't need to be registered or logged in to vote on this poll.

The question is, are these forums gonna be just used by people like us? Or are you going to announce these at the official forums so that the entire bnet community uses them too?

Oh, and I'm all for it. If it's anything like the EQ era where each server had their own unofficial board with no gay ass moderation like at the WOW forums, it'll most definitely be better than the official forums.

That's what I'm after.

I don't plan on making any effort to publicize the forums outside of the uberguilds network to answer your question. That doesn't mean it wouldn't happen.

The official Bleeding Hollow forums are a cesspool of the nth degree. I generally need to pop a few Tums before I even look at the thread listings. Short answer: PLEASE!

Why not do something like have a min number of people express interest for it and set it up on a server by server basis. So if 100 people on Hyjal send in expressions of interest, they get a forum to use.

Might save on having server forums that as just empty and never used.

I dont think there are enough people on my server that I would want to talk to (outside of my guild) to make a server specific forum worthwhile.

I prefer monolithic forums.

I think it could have it's good uses. I'm sure these boards would still be the more widely used place to actually discuss WoW, (unless you are trying to run us off Req ).

No, I'm not trying to run you off. I see the two sites being completely different. The fohguild.org forum doesn't really resemble a server forum in any way.
