This is where SOE could really make the game take advantage of it's franchise popularity. As far as storylines like Ganaral Rucksif, a little bit of creativity could muscle him back in a different type of Unrest, or maybe even have the zone fall under water after the explosion rocked it into the lake. Kedge keep mobs fighting the undead of Unrest, each battling for what they feel is their rightful home - players choose a side and finish quests based on a double faction quest line where players choose the side they wish to fight for.

| There are a few plot lines right now in EQ2. 1) Dragon Plotline (droag, Nagafen, Vyemm, Tarinax etc etc). 2) Vampires (T'Haen, D'Morte family, Anuk..) KoS is all about the Dragon plotline. It was very well done. If you follow the epic "Qeynos Claymore" quest line along with DeathToll access, it goes into huge detail about whats going on. After wrapping all that up and completing the quest it mentions the "Next journey" will be across the seas in a land of dark. I assume this is kinda the lead into traveling to Fay. Some how im sure they will bring back the D'Morte family, Indigo brotherhood, etc etc. DEs and Vamps are all interconnected from Mistmoor I guess. Previous vamp plots kinda ended at DoF and almost no mention of them in KoS. T'Haen was a joke... im guessing they whole vamp family was the "rednecks" of the bloodline. Anyway - Translation of the text is "The Future of Everquest II" exactly. As far as gods coming back, I can't say for sure it will never happen but the rewards for Qeynos Claymore already use EQ1 God's names. Additionally, the quest text mention them a far amount, which was surprising. Rumor has it this expansion will be huge. After KoS, the team in charge seems to have a good read on the player pulse (even thou raid content is limited).

| http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/e...d=10188&page=3 This thread here seems to have solved a lot of the mystery. While most still argue at one point these symbols represented Gods, they are undeniably the symbols that represent the Cities/Races of Norrath. As illustrated from the Firepots in TD, among other places. The symbol thought to be Veeshan, is clearly also the symbol of Neriak. Sounds like it's time to reclaim the old cities of Norrath. WTB Gods. |

+5 Internets | I don't know the accurate this lore may be. My reference: http://my.core.com/~mickiep/lore/mys...ns/origins.htm Quote:
A closeup of the icon that is nearly penetrating the veil on the new version of the symbol: It looks familiar to me, though I cannot seem to remember or find where it may be from. Quote:
My conclusion: Someone at SOE fucked up and made the Veeshan symbol the same as the dark elves and past lore means jack-shit.

| Personally I think it would be awesome if Kelethin was now a raft city floating around on the ocean of tears, and they've become master sailor Elves like the one faction from Tolkein. Teneri or whatever? (not that tolkein's elves lived on the waters, but their boats were the only ones that could find the hidden continent). Dry land is not a myth!!! | I think you guys are vastly over-estimating SoE's developers intelligence. The idiots probably just picked a random symbol from EQ1 and used it. When they realized players who cared about the game would delve deep into the lore they probably said "oh fuck", and now they are quickly, and very badly, putting some shit together to go in line with the symbol. Haha, stupid SoE. Worst.. developers.. ever.. |

He made his guild buy him a full set of Rubicite that I know of, and he probably did a ton of other retarded stuff as well. Sol Ro had both him /and/ Searyx for a while. ![]()

+9 Internets | Personnally one thing I liked to do on my free time in EQ was get on my Druid alt, charm a level 1 bat in Greater Faydark, buff the shit out of it (diamond skin, thorns, etc..), then /camp out to break charm.. then you can just sit back and watch unsuspecting noobs as they walk up and get pwned by superbat. a_noob00 shouts : "WTF I hit a bat and died! /petition!" |
