+9 Internets | Not that I want to be spoonfed but what is my best option as a Gallante for a frigate upgrade. I guess the answer is anything you can afford and have the skill for but some suggestions would be helpful. I guess I'll run missions to build up some ISK while I wait for my skills to advance. I have learning skill at two and trained it to about 90 minutes away from being at level 3. I switched over to something else while I was at work so as not to waste time. I'll pick it up and finish the training once I get home. There is no way to queue skill so that once you finish one, it automatically moves on to another I assume? It also looks like you skill does not continue to train to the next level once it is finished. I guess that would make things a little too easy if you could buy a skill, start training it, log off for a week and come back to having it at level 5. |

Incursus - best gallente frig imo Tristan - also called the fat man. Lots of people like these, but they are slowed then the incursus and cost a lot more. Quote:
You are correct yes, and further, they do this to prevent ebayers from skilling up charectors and selling them later. However, they have said this will change slightly in the future, where you can que up one skill or you can split train with another skill or something to that affect.

fit it with: 3x electron blasters AB/web/cap recharger small rep/cap power relay AND DONT FORGET YOUR SMALL DRONE. dosnt seem like much, but it helps quite abit against frigs. and you should rip things up in level 1 missions. its also good in pvp against frigs/pods (i use a variation of this when i have to fly a t1 tackler in fleet ops).

| How intense is this game? In terms of GPU/CPU. The sys reqs are one thing, but I'd like to be able to hold up in rather difficult or intense moments. Thing is, I want to install it on a 2nd box, and run it while I raid and shit. My 2nd box is a 1.8 P4 with a geforce 3. Sorry for the lame question. |

| 80 percent of the people play in empire where it is safe, and only 20 percent of the eve population plays in the 0.0 space. If you want to spend a lot of time in pvp, and fly something better then a newbie ships that goes spat, then expect to spend a huge amount of time farming for coin. 0.0 space is not a place where you can watch TV and play the game and chat on 3 different channels. You need to be focused at all times, because you never know when some force will enter the system you are in and gank you. As for system requirements, most of the lag comes from client side and it can be bad, and jumping is very much like zoning in EQ except you do 100 times more of it. I have not seen any large scale fleet battles yet, but I know from my EQ days if a guild brought 100 people to a raid it was called zerging. But it seems ok in eve to keep 200 ships 24/7 in a system, and it is not considered zerging. |

| Interesting. Watching that video, it seems like PvP has a very measured pace compared to most other games I've played(L2/WoW). Is that really the case, or am I just horribly misinterpreting what's going on?
