Any specific points on exactly how it's not going to be a better art boat than the temp? I mean the difference between the two ships is one I fit range mods the other I fit damage/rof mods.

+1 Internets | The idea is that the Maelstorm is supposed (and will be) the best Minmatar PvE ship, maybe it will be a close match with the Raven, though the Abaddon is supposed to be the PvP ship while it seems that the Apocalypse will remain the best PvE ship. At most the Abaddon will be marginaly better than the Apoc because of the capacitor problem (no cap bonus at all, 8 turrets and RoF bonus, quite impossible to sustain tank + guns). The problem is that the Apoc is by far the worst PvE BS, so I guess they're screwed PvE wise. On the other hand, the Abaddon seems by far the best fleep PvP ship, both close and long range. |

There's a lot of finger pointing going on right now but this is my understanding of the situation.

| From what I also hear, LV and VI got sick of defending KOS space and from reading the forums, KOS wasn't pulling their weight in the coalition after comments that CHIMP, LV and VI basically handed Wicked Creek to KOS back in the day. I'm not surprised about this development. Grumblings from LV and VI both weren't happy KOS in general, but for this to happen really surprised the hell out of me. As I noted tonight - LV and VI have wrecked divine retribution on KOS based on activity in WC as well as from their killboards =P |

KOS did a temporary NAP with RA and the swarm so they could get the fuck out. They literally had zero choice. They have so much shit that would have been locked in stations they had to nap to evacuate, because there is no time zone in which they could protect evacuating freighters from goons and red. Remember, their home system will be RA sovereignty tomorrow. Whether they NAP'ed us or not. There was no way around that fact, short of LV, V, and CHIMP blowing up the 15 deathstars Red dropped in system. And considering the last time they tried to attack a deathstar in that system they lost 3 dreads, it wasn't gonna happen. We provided more battleship support to KOS in the past day than the Southern Coalition provided since we invaded. And we just wanted to blow up the ships of some fucking faggots (especially chosen path. Fuck those traitors)

| Bah, there wouldn't have been 15 red deathstars there if KOS had done their jobs. KOS knew RED liked to tower spam. So, in their main system they didn't even have half the moons covered with large, fueled, towers? In a system with (relatively) few moons. That's just incompetant. Then RED comes in at 5 AM eve time and starts shooting the 15 small towers that are offline. As far as I know LV and V are mainly Euro alliances. There was nothing to be done that night I dont think. Now, take what happened in V space. RA came in at 5 AM eve time, put a ton of towers into reinfoced. V had their stront set (mostly) right. Granted there was a bug w/ towers in their favor, but RA have had bugs in their favor in the past when it comes to towers also. Next day, Goons goto school/work, and LV and V move forces into KZF and 1V- and there are a few fights, but the systems are cleared. After that, from what I hear, nothing happens until all the V towers are back in shape. That's the difference between LV/V and KOS I'd think, and I don't think that's the 1st time KOS has completely dropped the ball. The cooalition has lost their weakest link and it'll be interesting to see how V/LV/CHIMP ect. deal with it, but I think it'll work out for the better for them. |
