I really hope this happens with some idea of thoughtfulness on SoE's part.

I'd pull about a months worth of all nighters. It's like playing one of your all time favorite games over again. I'll be playing for the challenge of seeing how fast we can go through the content.

I would really like it if they made Inny + CT the reqs for Kunark, Phara for Velious, etc. I'm sure they'll go for the lowest common denominator as always though and make it Naggy/Vox and Trak.

PoK is techincally free content now - I'd certainly hope that's not the case.

Tying revamps and free content to the nearest expansion would be more sensible IMO - or possibly unique triggers of their own.

Vox at release, then Nag, Cazic and Inny. I don't think solB was working at first.

I was thinking about this too. I could consider being interested, but shammy race selection in vanilla was pretty fuckin poor, especially if you weren't in the market for a 15%+ exp penalty. I just can't deal with that again, worst mistake ever was playing Troll SK as main for years.

I know the lame hybrid penalties are gone, but do they still have that 20% troll, 15% ogre (iirc) and similar iksar penalties? If so, fuck it; I want to play the race I like, not the race without a massive exp penalty.

Racial exp penalties are still in place.

Barbarians only have a 5%, which although I don't like, is tolerable for someone who really wants to be a Shaman.

edit! - Kerran is still the way to go for Shaman and Beastlords as they have no penalty and stealth (bastards) but that doesn't help you any.

Eh? Original Paw was like level 12 or some shit, and then got revamped into the 30-42 dungeon with lots of gnolls. Did they revamp it yet again?

If it wasn't, it was working pretty damned close. First Nagafen raid on Rathe happened sometime in like July '99, and exp groups weren't exactly unheard of in there in about May.

Am I the only one thinking about my race/class combo and stat distribution already?

Think I'll go Dorf/War again and grind BB->CB->Unrest->Lake Rathe->Aviak Village->Sola->Solb/Guk

This is tragic.

The real question is whether to two box or not.

It's almost too easy not to do in EQ1.

Meh. I never found 2 boxxing to much fun even though I boxed a cleric from kunark on.

Much rather find 5 other hardcore people (which shouldn't be to hard to find on a server like this) and plow through shit.
