+1 Internets | I enjoy being a healer in pvp, but it is much the same reason as why I enjoy playing pvp in this game in the first place. It's not about making a TEAM SUPER EFFORT! or even winning, but rather it's about depriving the other team a win and frustrating them. If I see a rogue in full bloodfang and perditions blade beating on some poor mage you can be damn well sure I'm going to heal the mage, but only because I enjoy seeing someone with such an investment in their character fail. God, that's just as glorious as a planet falling on Chewbacca. |

| Haha yeah, healing some ghetto mage in half blues while they kill a Warrior in full PvP gear makes me laugh. It's not that most of us flat out refuse to heal. I know I swap in and out of Shadowform during BGs depending on the situation, and I'm sure other Priests do too. It's that most people just aren't worth healing. It's not often you come across a Warrior who realises they have more than Charge, Intercept, MS and WW. To be blunt, most people suck ass at PvP and I can provide a bigger contribution on my own. But every once in a while you find someone who actually knows how to play. If I find someone that's actually worth keeping alive, and I know our combined contribution will be more effective than our seperate ones, then yeah I'll heal the shit out of them. For whatever reason this usually means I end up healing Mages (not usually the AP/Trinket Bots though), other Priests and pre-MC Warlocks. It might just be because we're all gimp and have had to adapt to a world of two hits means death, but these people just seem to be the least retarded. Although, getting a BWL Warrior/Rogue/Hunter that isn't an idiot is the best thing ever, but that's one in a million for a PUG... |

If they have a chance in hell of actually being of worth to me in that BG or world pvp moment, then yes i will expend the mana to heal him. But usually i'm better off nuking ;d

| Is there a tooltip at character creation when you mouseover priest it says "prima donnas click here" or "click here if you have a need to be complimented on how well you play your class in order to actually play your class" on it? Cuz fuck, you guys sure are some whiney bitches. |

If you want to suck, do it somewhere else. Good lord Priests are such a prima donna class it's ridiculous. Just because we want you to heal occasionally does not mean that we want you to be a healbot. There is a difference. Learn it, or get the hell away from me.

| You're looking at it the wrong way. The warrior/rogue/mage is your killbot. Why is healing "botting" but killing is somehow fun and challenging? I followed plenty of warriors around healing them and earthshocking/purging priests/mages we were killing while dropping grounding/windfury/earthbind totems. Guess what, we fucking killed stuff. Did I do most of the damage? No. Did I get HK's just the same? yes. Is clicking "heal" less fun than clicking "nuke" ? I stopped playing my shaman though because for some reason my guild members wouldn't step to me and suck my dick daily for lowering myself to healing them. Fuck that, if they want me to heal they can..... err... |

| You know what? Having played a healer, Liz, I wouldn't expect them to walk on eggshells around me, nor should they have to around any healer. Key fucking word: healer. That means when you need to heal, you fucking heal. Can you do shit other than heal? By all fucking means, but you should always heal when you need to. Because, gasp, you're a fucking healer. That goes for shaman/Druid too. Don't be a heal bot, but also don't not heal, its that fucking simple. You and your egotistical "I'm a healer don't piss me off" bullshit can drop to your knees and get a couple ounces of baby-batter from my maypole of meat, bitch. |

People assume that they would have survived if only they'd been healed, when the truth is they might have lasted 1 or 2 extra hits - maybe 2 seconds altogether. Granted, in certain situations those couple of seconds can make all the difference (controlling GY, flag captures etc), but in general they don't.

The HEALER has no choice. And, unfortunately, more times than not, the killers are not prioritizing the people killing you. Why's that? because they're too busy taking out the other team's weak link: the cloth healer. Great dynamic.

+2 Internets | You don't seem to get it. Like someone mentioned above that most people aren't worth healing because they are useless, stupid and shitty geared. If I happened to be in a group with Schatze the GM chances are I'd probably consider him a good player. Sometimes they are also actually better off dead since they can't break CC while waiting to rez at the graveyard and I'd benefit more by saving my mana for something else. Have you ever wasted your whole mana bar healing a warrior only to realize that he's actually not killing anything? Thanks, but I rather do something on my own then helping you achieve absolutely nothing. This is how many PUGs are in WoW and the only reasons I can think of why you haven't realized this yet is either because you are one of those described above or that you happen to play on a server with exceptional players. But then you aren't playing on mine, that's for sure. |
