| i've found that usually when you get a tell like that, all you have do to is say " sorry, no " and thats the end of it. i mean, ignore isnt going to stop you from getting tells like that really. it's only after you get that tell that you seem to put them on ignore, and they probably never attempt to speak to you again anyway. Understandable for people who spam public channels though. ![]() |

I agree tho, ignoring them is like paying for theater and then turn your head away from the show cause some tard on the stage is a moron. But not anyone can stand offensive people and/or stupidy much less be entertained or inspired by them ![]() | |

| You just have to think of some tactics. Fer instance, I'm a rogue. For one, my character name is Ignignokt. When RandomNoob does a '/who rogue' and has a choice between 'Ignignokt', 'Bakkstabbrxxxx', or 'Dot', it's easiest to type 'Dot' of course. Meanwhile I don't have to sink to the level of Backstabbrxxxx and can still have a respectable (well relatively) yet hard to type name. I also avoid talking in the public channels, and don't hang around in IF longer than I have to. When I am in IF, I actually have a set crappy cloth gear that makes me look like a caster, so I can avoid many of the random lockboxes that get shoved into my face without even a word. I still get tells and lockboxes all the time, but none of them are repeat offenders, so what would be the point of /ignore'ing them? The main use of my ignore list is to keep track of idiots I've grouped or done trades with in the past. So when I join a pug and wonder why the hunter isn't talking, I can check my ignore list and realize I should gtfo.
