| On Wildhammer, the server I play on, the Horde wins effectively every single AV. There are stories of the Alliance actually winning, but I haven't ever seen it happen. I haven't even seen the Alliance take one position. It is terrible. If I hop into an AV (as I have no choice as people only play AV), and it is a clear loss, I can basically still expect it to take a long ass time to finish. I am not willing to devote an hour or two to a BG that is a failure, get no bonus honor, and probably squat for actual honorable kills. Actually, I think I just hate AV and being forced to play AV. Now, if I could run an AB, at least no matter what the game has a time limit. Getting 5 capped ends that shit fast. AV needs a concede button or something. After four hours if 75% of one side wants out then poof, instance over. Try again, thanks for playing. Getting stuck in a failure, punished for leaving, and then also getting fucked over by the other team being jackasses, is just weak.

| In regards to dispelling, this is actually going to favor certain gear builds for priests. It'll favor a very very low mana pool and VERY high mp5/spirit regen build (with 3 pc trans) So you're dispels are costing less, and you're regenning at a higher pace then you can burn it. That'd be my theory about it, anyways. May or may not work, depending on how they code it, but that'd be my solution. |

| I may be wrong as I've not been on test to check recently (is it even up?) but I think the % on cures is based on your naked manapool (so level, I have no clue if racial int differences have an effect but I kinda doubt it) not total manapool. Thats how they've changed it with other utility spells in the past, so effectively you end up with a set mana value that just scales with level, all ranks end up costing the same etc. |

| It's a percentage of base mana... which has fuck all to do with how much mana you actually have. For instance. Rez uses 75% of your base mana. My naked dwarf has 1376 mana. Therefore Rez uses 1032 mana. The fact that I have 7k with my gear on doesn't mean anything. It's still 1032 mana. The dispel change was put in because they wanted to increase the cost of dispel without making it crippling to use at the level you get it. A Priest's first Cure Disease comes at level 14, and given that they were going to simply double the costs, it'd cost 120 mana. While 120 mana is a drop in the bucket at 60 with epics, it's a pretty big amount for a level 14 in quested green crap. It's a change to protect "Little Timmy" |
