This has a leaked scan from CGW that says Draenei are the new alliance race. As well as Nether Dragons being the new lvl 70 flying mounts.

Looks fairly credible.

Meh, the same things were said when CGW scans were leaked about the three new races and new classes in WoW (back before beta, when undead, trolls and gnomes were revealed).

I just think its the writing style of some of the people who work at CGW.

I know people will bitch about their epics or old zones. That just seems to be the nature of games like this. We may level up characters later on for some reason and give all the old content another go. You'll notice, however, that on many servers all of the 1-59 content is still in use. I can't speak for every server, but each and every single day you can log onto Warsong and get a group for WC, SM, etc...

I think it'll take a few years before it gets as bad as EQ1.

He can't be writing to his audience because b.netters can't read. They can only glean the vague understanding that the word "tigole" and "foh" used in the same sentence must be protested!

My current pet conspiracy theory, following on from the denial, is that the Draenai were going to be announced in that month's issue with pics, newbie zone and all but something happened in testing (Tester: "Dear god, my eyes!") so Blizzard had to rework stuff. So the main article got pulled, but the little comment in the sidebar got missed.
