That is an article from Tigole about Raiding before WoW was released. I will let you decided if they came through with what they promised.

Small note to AQ in that article

I get the feeling Tigole had a TON of shit planned but no manpower to bring it to the game, sooner. =/

it would be completely crazy if the very next patch due in mere weeks had something just like that in it.

Shows pretty clearly tig had stuff planned tightly, but simply got completely fucked over by the casual demands the company made of the content production dept. Perhaps you missed that this article was written over a year ago. So while I understand it is FINALLY coming to the game now, if you read the article I get the impression it would be in the game, oh I don't know, sooner then a year later.

I bemoaned it's taking a year to come into the game. When I see words like, "Another exterior raid we have." I wonder why it took so long. And the quote wasn't to bitch about AQ, I quoted it because it IS coming out in 2 weeks, so thought it interesting. Done being a cranky fucker?

idealy the dark portal was supposed to be available on release as well, but sony pushing its hand made blizzard push theirs and you have 2 rushed games. i think most logical people put WoW's release in spring 2005.
