Low Level PvP

Anyone happen to know what server(s) the 20-29 bracket is busy on? Google isn't being very helpful.

Obviously low level pvp isn't going to be as busy, but I do know a lot of people who are into it because of the more level playing field. I play on a low pop pvp server and there are a couple (perhaps 6-8) of games a day in the 20 and 30 brackets.

I would recommend one of the newer pvp servers like Darkiron.

Keep in mind though that as far as grinding ranks you aren't doing yourself too much of a favor. I heard that low levels don't have the access to the same honor pool % wise. I've never seen anybody higher than rank 2 (and that once in the 40 range) even though some of the guys including me have been in 15+ games a week for slightly more than a month.

most of the people that stay in the 20-29 range are alts with crusader enchanted corpsemakers, makes it pretty funny if they're on your team

I'm just suprised that low level battlegrounds haven't taken off on some random server yet similar to Diablo. I don't mean a handful of games a day either, I mean AVs, and 10 ABs running at once, etc. It's relatively easy to create a 29 character such that all the people interested in that could migrate to the same place relatively easily. So where is it?

I realize honor at that level is worthless. But honor at any level is worthless so why would that be a detriment. I was a little concerned that some of the twinks would be overly strong. I don't want to make a level 60 rogue and grind Tyr's Hand with the Rang Rang Gang just to equip level 29 battleground characters.

AV is level 51-60 only.

You clearly have not heard the legend of Breaders, the level 2 Troll Shaman with a Frostwolf mount.

Someone 51-60 has to Queue you in group, but you can join at any level.

The best times in DAOC were in the Thindriki (or however you spell it) level 24 battleground.

We would reroll once we got too many points and were booted from the place. Low level pvp was so much fun.

Just got done playing 3 rounds of AB on my 32 rogue, and while it was extremely fun, it was very easy to get unbalanced at such a low lvl. Supertwinks running around with nightblades+icy enchant or similiar gear quickly screws up the game. Also, not having any healers = big time suck. Nothing funner than going up agaisnt 3 priest and a shaman when the only healers you have are 2 druids.

1 game = We won, classes where balanced and not any super twinks
2 game = loss, no healers + super twinks
3 game = loss, no healers + super twinks

One of my rl friends got the game and rolled on hyjal completely without my knowledge. When I found out, I made a shaman and priest there and quickly outleveled him with both chars.

Not wanting to leave him in the dirt, I sat my shaman in the 30 battleground for god knows how long, then in the 40 bracket until I rerolled on dark iron.

Those were EASILY the most fun times in world of warcraft. No question no competition awesome. Part of it WAS my class choice, since on horde I'd always have a beefed up shaman and could solo any 3 non twinks, and on alliance we were guaranteed at least 1 healer.

If you're considering trying this out, do it and enjoy it. You won't even need THE best gear to be competitive; half blues at that level will still own.

There hasn't been a 50-59 AB on Agrammar in 4 days. I don't mean I haven't personally been in one. There Has Not Been A Single Game. Is it already past FotM? I have a macro hotkey that did /who z-"arathi basin" 40-59 when i was 49, and i would click it several times an hour, because I was debating leveling. There were as many or perhaps even MORE 50s games last week (week starting on Tuesday for ranks). I was in 1 40s game on tuesday before I leveled to 50. I'm now on the cusp of 54. It infuriates me. I'm now making the maddest push to 60 I've ever done so I can TRY and get in and hit exalted before everyone bails.

How the fuck can there not be 15 50s horde players who want to queue and lose? I hear the drum for an alliance queueing every 5 minutes, I'm sure we've had queues in excess of 50 people at one point. Granted Aggramar is like a 3 to 1 imbalance but jesus hairy christ why can't these damn horde queue up and lose so I can get my damn shoulders already.

On a happier note, finally got around to getting my mason's ring and just did the new rogue 50 quest (ubar mask for the level) so I'm quite happy, even if the only pvp I've been able to do the past week is camp Rin'ji WAITING for some horde to start the quest and PRAY he fights back when I kill him. I've gotten 1 mage to fight back. He gave up after 3 deaths.

WHERE THE FUCK ARE MY CROSS-SERVER OR ALLIANCE VS ALLIANCE BGS! FUCK!

Low level PVP kinda sucks because some classes get their top PVP skills earlier than others. it's awesome to fight with a warlock against a rogue at 25 - when you don't have seduction yet on your succubus.

incredibly fun to fight a instant spamming shaman as a level 39 warrior, when your best attack is heroic strike.
