| Warlock DoTs finally get love http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/th...=1#post4988940 Three words: About, fucking, time. -- Those are in reference to the DoT and Death Coil changes (Death Coil surprised me as far as the secondary effect goes), and most especially Bane. Pyroclasm seems better on paper, but Soul Fire being added to it? Jury's out. I really am curious how they intend to buff the Infernal (oh I don't know, give it abilities maybe?!?one?!)

| I have never really played a Warlock so maybe this will be a very dumb suggestion, but a possible sweet addition to the Infernal would be to make it more the way it was portrayed in WarCraft III.. That is, when the Infernal is summoned from the Twisted Nether, make it appear as a fiery meteor that crashes down, and the Infernal comes out of the crater. The meteor crash could be a nice badass AE damage around the crater and then the Infernal would still emerge and rush the Warlock, but at least there was damage done to someone! Plus it would look badass in large-scale PvP battles to have meteors pouring down upon the battlefield like in the WarCraft III cinematics. Ninja-Edit : Oh and in case this effect is already in game, I should warn you that despite being a 60 Warrior, I've maybe seen an Infernal like twice or thrice in my WoW career.. it's kinda sad when you think about it, so much potential, so little use. |

| Guess I was right to post that ninja-edit, I could see that one coming! Well damn, I'll have to level up a Warlock and see that meteor crashing down for myself then, because I doubt we'll be seeing Warlocks using them much any time soon =( |

They're probably lowering Ruin to 50%. It lowers the damage by a bit, but not too much so (you get 175% crit damage as compared to twice/200%). 875 vs. 1k adds up, sure, but it won't be as obscene as we've currently seen with Shadow Bolt, Shadow Mastery, and massive +Shadow damage gear (hi 4k+ crits). As long as the DoTs have a maximum time of 18seconds (not 21/24 seconds; still too long =p ) I'm happy. I kind of wish they included Siphon Life with that, though. They'll also have to adjust Nightfall a smidge too (no, not a higher proc rate; I'd say something like having all Shadow DoTs be included and lower it to 1/2%).

| I levelled a Warlock to 60 with broken DoTs, no Felhunter/Infernal/Doomguard (like it was a real loss). Don't recall the level cap for when they did what I call the "9 spell" or talent patches in beta. I still can't believe Agony used to be 90s, and Corruption 60. Oi.

| Immolate already benefits from the reduced casting time talent. Methinks that is a typo. I hope he meant searing pain. 1s SP 4tw? The only downside to that article is the ruin nerf. In PVP nukes are still our best option since you cant dispell a nuke.
