AB lameness with Paladins.

So yeah,

I love AB, great BG - the best one so far.. we do really well with my guild group, and we've only lost a few games out of maybe 40..

But the Paladins on my server LOVE to bubblecap, and think its perfectly legal and allowed since Blizz isn't calling it an 'exploit' , then flail wildly to explain how it is legal, bringing up WSG's graveyard terrain feature (that both sides can use omg), Ghostwolf and how UBAR it is, Mind Control and how OVAPOWA it is (wait Alli get priests too!), and that it is used ALL in the name of getting even.

Does anyone else have this problem on their server?

I hate paladins.

As long as shaman totems interrupt flag caps, bubble caps are fine by me.

how could this possibly be an "exploit"?

Let the bastards have their moment in the sun. AB will be quickly forgotten, as will any complaints of bubble capping, and other lameness.

lol, as if every Alliance PvPer doesn't have a mod that auto-targets totems, attacks it then re-acquires the old target. It works quite well with wand users.

Anyway, maybe I just get the retarded paladins or something, cause they'll bubble up and heal themselves while I take a flag back.

I'm getting so sick of this shit, I hope that someday Blizzard just says fuck all and make both classes available to both sides.

I think (call me crazy) the idea is to kill the enemy before you cap the flag. Totem interrupting you? Kill it. Shaman replanting totem? Kill them. Paladin capping with divine shield on? Ki...oh wait, that's right! They're immune.

Now that that's settled, we can sit back and see how many weeks this takes to get fixed.

If a paladin capping flags with DS is an exploit, so is ghostwolf/travelform capping in WSG.

I must say I dont really mind, have played ~20 AB's so far and never seen once instance where it has been the determining factor of the fight.

If they need to bubble cap they are usually on their own, and as such they will die once the bubble goes down with an easy recap, sure it takes some time out of doing other things for the defending team, but thats the whole point isnt it.

I think AB is an awesome BG tho I might be biased since we havent lost a single one yet.

Nah, the situation they're complaining about is where you have 2-3 people at a site and the alliance rolls up with 6 or so. The alliance is going to win, but the paladin can instantly cap it without any way of disrupting them, whereas 2-3 people can play flag cat and mouse for quite a while if they're smart.

One thing that makes the horde cry is seeing 3-4 paladins rolling up.

But in all seriousness...

Like I said before its great that there can be a place where pallies can shine.

Ive won AB Ive lost AB and at no time was the pally, or any other class a detirmining factor. Its usually coordination and lack of willingness to work as a team that means a loss.

The paladins who actually understand there class and what they can do while in AB will define every single game they play in. Say you have uber alli guild X vs uber horde guild Y, they each bring 5 pally / shaman respectively. The alliance will 'win' it every time, assuming all classes are played with equal skill.

I invite you to dispute this. But I will also admit I think all paladins are flaming homosexuals and am glad 95% of them are mentally deficient.
