Despite how we all may feel about WoW, about the "nerf" of MC and blah blah blah...

holy shit what a rush when that fucker went down. My wife woke up and yelled at me to keep it down. We were all yelling over vent. There was much rejoicing.

WoW has alot that gives you that special feeling, alot that makes you wanna go.. HOLY MOTHER FUCKING SHIT YES YES YES YES!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you haven't downed rag, get on it.... it's such a total rush when you do.

and we did the same.... only it was actually him dropping to a 2nd set of sons at 1%. had to kite them and pray enough dps survived to drop him. kinda silly stuff

I feel for ya. My guild is actually at Rag, no kill yet though. So I know I'd feel the same. But to just openly say this on this board is to be a midget in a high jump meet, it just won't go over so well.

I know the guys who are actually in FoH are pretty leet and have downed rag some time ago - but think back to when you did it (and I'm on a relatively new low-pop server, and a PvP server at that). Think about how it made you feel.

I just killed rag for the first time 30 minutes ago. HELL YEA BIOTCHES WOOT!

yeah best feeling in game by far, way better than ony or lucifron or vael or whatever. Was especially cool to do it before bwl and you've really "beaten the game" as sad as that is.

It's weird. You get a sense if elation for downing a big mob for the first time and you get a sense of relief once you down it say the 4th time with no wipes, little prep time, and few deaths and you just know it is now "farm status". I personally prefer the later.

We're not going to try BWL until we're mostly through farming MC, probably another month or 2, so since our onyxia timer isn't up we don't have anything left to kill for the week. AHH TIME OFF!

It's funny now how we had to like be READY to handle 4-pull lava packs and really be on our game to do geddon and stuff like that.. now we can handle a 4-pull lava pack, get a dog add in the middle, and continue chain-pulling with no deaths. Those kind of things make you stop and go.... wow, we have progressed.

When like the first pull of giants wipes your raid the first time you go in, to when you can kill a pull of double destroyers with everyone at 20% mana.. it's nice. Really gives you a feeling of accomplishment.

It's a great feeling, and it really is a huge adrenaline rush whenever you down him for the first time. I remember our first time like it was yesterday, and I still occasionally get goosebumps. :P Probably why I still play - that high is addictive.

I love Rag's voice, I have 5.1 surround, and every time we face him I always turn up the speakers and just smile. Should be old by now, but that voice is still turnin me on.
