damage shield is probably not a huge deal, because vindi will be missing a lot. And to whomever said "shielding isn't that good" is pretty clueless. Mitigation is mitigation.

I said it isn't "that good" referring to the fact that 1% shielding is not 1% total damage.

He must've really hated Vindi to draw the fight out extra by not popping off HT. I thought SKs got AA powers that superpowered that sumnabitch touch.

I can't explain why, but for some reason Vindi getting soloed like that makes me feel really sad. Melancholy bullshit, yea. But I guess in some way it signifies that SoV, in my mind the best expansion to ever be released for any game (note, expansion != sequal) is totally buried. Not that it hasn't been already, but it really sucks seeing NToV bosses and Kael giants are getting soloed, all things considered.

The other disturbing thing of course, is how warriors mananged to go from 8kish unbuffed pre PoTime to 16k in basically 2 years. If that ain't mudflation I don't know what is.

5 more levels, new AAs and 100hp augs in most slots will do that, heh.

SK's were soloing zland back in PoTime, I don't see why Vindi would be even remotely hard with all the crazy shit they have now.

he's a level 70 SK with a weapon probably twice the damage we know from PoT and he hit him for freaking 58 damage?

Or can SKs dual wield now and that's his offhand?

That one sounds like BS. Vindi is one thing, as the guy in the pic is pretty much a top of the line SK and he's topped out in the best buffs. Sontalak is entirely different, not only because he'd beat Vindi's ass, but because he'd dispell all your shit. He had the shaman slow it, most likely.

Vindicator would own Sontalak, it's not even a contest. Sontalak has a lower melee damage output, 3 or 4 times less hitpoints. Sontalak was hard because his AEs and it was hard to keep it aggroed on a MT. When you're soloing neither is an issue, especialy when you resist 100% of the AE...
