Apparently they are of Aradune and Co. at a newbie level area called Brennan's Stead. They look ok, although the game definitely needs alot of polish before release.

I don't mind the look of game but what I do mind if poorly animated characters and from what I saw from an E3 video. They still have a long ways to go.

Looking at the the windows it doesn't really look like it is breaking any new ground in combat.

From this one screenshot it looks like EQ+

Dude, that model resembles nothing Luclin. Look how detailed the hands, feet, and hair are. I'm not sure when the last time you logged into Norath was but that model is slammin...imo. Environment looks nice. Maybe has some similarities to EQ2 in that it looks great. Its interesting to look at the terrain in the far distance, it looks like it would be easy on the hardware, but I really can't back that up. Just the "feeling" I get when viewing it.

Fuck game designers. The first five levels of a game shouldn't be "Big Game Hunter" minus the big game.

Seriously, sick of this shit. I was so happy when I rolled a human in WoW and the first thing I killed was a kobold. Then 10 minutes later I'm killing boars and wolves.

Fuck game designers. Fuck them in their stupid asses.

They reallly need to get rid of that seriff font, it is annoying to read and ugly to look at. Wow has the perfect font, clean and legible (except in books, then they too use small caps). Also, small-caps does not fit in a game, it fits in print.

I like the graphics. The models are starting to look really nice. The weapons are a bit too shiny, but it is nothing that won't be fixed by release.

I believe Brad said he had the HDR on, so it made the weapons look like they're holy or something.

What else would you prefer to kill? Dragons? At level 1? There really isn't much leeway.

As for the game, looks right on target for an updated EQ1. Looking forward to it. Just hope they learned from watching EQ get fucked up that they let this version work better.
