Too tough to call until I see screens and some gameplay information. I wouldn't put in a large scale investment based on what I see atm though =p.

"The gameplay behind Kaos War: Rise of the Fallen is unique. We wanted to blend the fast-paced fun factor of FPS/3PS shooter games with the comfortable similarity that gamers have come to know from popular MMORPG games. What we came up with a system that is incredibly simple, yet has layers of complexity that gamers will love.

The first thing to note is that the game will be playable in both standard first person shooter style mode and third person shooter style. Gamers will have a standard MMO style "macro" bar with abilities they have trained in loaded. Intead of abilities having a hit or miss, resist or a "roll the dice" factor to your spells/attacks, we decided to leave the hit or miss up to the gamers skills.

Below are all the forms of attacks and how they work.

Ranged:

Direct Shot Damage Attacks: Standard attack, simply requires that you have a direct aim on target, player can slowly fire or rapid fire with less accuracy.

Direct Shot Burst Attack: Requires a charge time and are aim based shots. Usually taking up a set number of ammunition or a full clip.

Seeker Shots: A direct aim attack that shoots a seeker shot at target enemy that will chase them for a set amount of time.

Charged Bolt Shot: Requires a charge time, once the charge is released the bolt shoots straight out from the player to target. Some bolts are faster than others. Bolts being the hardest to hit do the most damage. Enemy players are able to jump over, dodge, block or deflect with their own weapons.

Ground Target:A simple radius circle appears on ground at target distance. Generally used for mortars or area of effect specials.

Melee:

Standard Melee Attacks: By simply holding down the attack button, these attacks are based purely on the players attributes and what weapons they have equipped. The benefit of playing a melee class, in short, is that it requires less skill to land abilities. The factor of closing in is the only problem.

Flurry Attacks: A charge attack that lets loose a flurry of rapid blows. Most blows are dealt in under 3 seconds. Certain flurries lock you in place, others allow you to move freely.

Charged Melee Attack: A charged melee attack once released lands one hard hitting blow, often leading to an effect such as concussion or shock.

Cleave Attacks:Some require charge, some do not. These attacks are generaly Area of Effect or Cone Effect and have different effects based on your particular class.

**SPECIAL NOTE**

Certain classes have increases damage when attacking from the air, such as Hellion and Exorcist. Other classes will have abilities such as these. Jumping skill and height is a very important factor in this game.

General Attributes

Strength : Increases carry amount and damage with melee weaponry.

Perception : Increases ranged damage and stealth detection

Agility : Increases jump height and run speed.

Constitution : Decreases damage taken

Vitality : Increases overall health

Will : Reduces recoil times.

Ranks
There are a total of 25 ranks to attain. Each rank grants you a total of 4 spec points, 100 total at rank 25. These spec points are used to tailor your character to the way you wish to play them. This leaves an incredible amount of spec options since the system is completely open-ended.

Each class receives a defensive and offensive tree to spec in, as well as a basic tree for weapon certs, armor certs and vehicle certifications. Leaving a range from 50-90 abilities per class.

Click here for an example of offensive and defensive trees.
This should give you an idea of how many possible options there are.

Effects:
There are several effects in the game that are generally seen after someone lands a skill.

Blood Thirst:If a player gets 20 or more kills without a death, they go into Primal Fury. Depending on class, this ranges from inhuman runspeed to enormous size and damage output.

Recoil:Recoil is the time required for a skill to recharge in order to be used again. Certain skills only take seconds whereis others, such as superior abilities, can take anywhere from two hours to five days to recoil.

Blind: Some abilities cause moderate to severe blinding effects. Blind in Kaos works in two forms. A full screen black-out for a temporary period and a "flashing" in and out effect.

Concussion: If hit hard enough, you can get a concussion. This effect temporarily blurs your vision and makes it hard for you to aim and walk.

Shock:An effect that puts a character into shock temporarily, causing his recoil to stop, and sometimes, eliminating the use of his current abilities.

Immobilize: Certain gadgets and abilities cause the enemy to be unable to move for a period of time.

Paralysis: A complete loss of function.

Knock Back: Certain classes have the ability to knock an enemy, or group of enemies back away from them. Ranging from five yards to one hundred yards."

True might be bargin bin, meh who knows, like the art though
