| Intentional PvP lag programs? I've noticed this quite a lot lately. When dueling melee characters, it seems a lot are using something that is making them lag like crazy, which makes them hard to hit via melee or spells. It's like playing CS against people that have a 900 ping time. You swear you shot them in the fucking head but nope. Then they up and kill you out of nowhere. To try to understand this problem, I would stalk people that had this lag issue. One thing i've noticed is that, when they are pvping, they bounce around like crazy, no fluidlike motion at all. Once they've had their kill, they'll stop for a second, then they come back and start moving fluidly again. What the fuck is this shit? It's becoming rampant on my server and it's very hard to deal with these people as a caster because you'll be facing them and constantly get "you must be facing your target" errors. Are they using some sort of bandwidth limited so that they get massive packet loss? I swear they're alt tabbing and turning some shit on and off to cause this lag.. Anyone familiar with this stuff and have any possible solutions for it? |

| I've seen people do something like you've mentioned on Laughing Skull. Yesterday there was a rogue in WSG that seemed to teleport around me until he killed me.

I've noticed this A LOT in duels, especially when I try to intercept other players and suddenly things slow down and instead of being in front of me, they are about 20 yards south east. But then, those people usually said the same about me, and I'm pretty sure I don't hack. We all blamed it on server lag. We see it a lot, but I don't believe its intentional. | |

![]() edit: hmm i just thought of something. If you bind it to mouse3 or something it would be pretty easy to accomplish.... Time to try it out.

| Pretty much anything that runs in the background and eats bandwith could do that, right? Plenty of stuff available for that. Finally spyware and russian isp scams are good for something! |

| The person could also just be unpluging-repluging thire modum for a few seconds. When the server and clint update to each other it would make them warp from were the server thought they was to were the clinte said they was. |
