new eq tutorial and armor quests

Anyone else been playing and enjoying this new tutorial and the 11-20 armor quests. I Think they were both really well designed and alot of fun to play.

I've already had one of the post-tutorial tasks (exploring Blackburrow) bug out, and another is all but abandoned because of how rare one of the drops is. I must admit, though, aside from those glitches the tasks make the game quite enjoyable. I'm level 15 now, I didn't have to "grind" XP at any point, and I have several items that may not be jaw-dropping (9/30 1HS, some +5 / +10 HP items with stats and resists) but which are pretty cool for the level. And I got to prove Murphy's Law by seeing the Ancient Cyclops for the first time ever, when I was in no position to do anything about it.

Lol. I'm solidly convinced all MMORPGs are designed around Murphy's Law.

I played EQ from March 19, 1999 until March 2004 and never saw the Ancient Cyclops once =/

Murphy's Law has been a staple piece of coding inserted into every computer program since BASIC was new.

Awwww...

Just hang around SRo for a while and it WILL spawn. I got boots for 10 alts or so.

I just camped it in OoT where there was a specific placeholder to kill.

I just remember me and 2 others killing everything in the zone and making him spawn, only did it twice though.

Musta killed 30 of those bastards while waiting for PoH rez back in the day. Even used it as a bracer for a good long time.

Never did get a Najena version.

I saw him once, but had fire spells memmed which is resisted as I was ks'd by a better prepared camper. Still though, once in 5 years...

I've seen Ancient Cyclops once. A friend (on his alt with no way to kill it) was spazzing out telling me the AC was up. All I saw when I got there was the AC's corpse. :\
