At least they picked a nice central location. As a friend pointed out, "it will probably be in the Fry's parking lot."

Blizzard: have it in vegas you goofs, where there are already cheap flights to, abundant cheap hotel rooms, and plenty to do besides crush and urinate into the skulls of blizzard employees.

For serious though - get some security for the staff.

If they are having an EQ-style fan faire with dev panel sessions and all that shit AND they move it somewhere not completely retarded (i.e. Vegas) I would consider going.

I'm not flying out to fucking california to stand in a Fry's parking lot.

There's nothing "central" about SoCal. Not everyone lives in Cali.

Central is Omaha, St. Louis, Denver, Chicago.

Central is NOT anything west of the rockies, or east of Ohio.

It really is a weird location.

There's nothing nearby. I guess the Beach (in late October tho?), and Disneyland, but in both cases you'll need to take a drive on some VERY busy freeways. There's also Knotts Berry Farm, Medeival Times, and a few other things, but again, it's a drive.

Vegas should be the place for all these things. If you're going to have to fly/travel anyway, make it somewhere where "Fun" is Central.
