+12 Internets | For PvP they need to have Taunt, Mocking Blow and Challenging Shout work like Distract where it force turns the person and you should be able to taunt pets. Completely retarded how rogues can turn you the fuck around but warriors can't. |

| It's pretty simple to make the protection tree viable in both pve and pvp. arms/fury - viable in pvp by doing high DPS prot - viable in pvp by lasting longer and tiring out your opponent through stuns, debuffs, silences, you're-paid-to-think-this-through-other-stuff. They need to work on the 'lasting longer' part cause it ain't fucking there. |

it wouldnt do shit really to make shadow priests any stronger than they already are in 1v1 (if you cant hit tab rq to retarget, shame on you) but would go a long way to helping priests in group pvp without any unbalancing shit. ~~

| how about: ~fade makes you non targetable for a few secs (but if you're already targetted you remain so) /assist could possibly still work. ~taunt makes enemies unable to target anyone except you (and lose the ae fear as this takes its place) I prefer the idea of fade acting more of a "you don't get any more aggro than you have" versus a "you lose aggro that you have." It would then be useful in pve as a aggro reducer (preventative), like a baby paladin buff, instead of a "it might work" aggro killer, for both shadow priests as well as healers... or even make it a targetable buff. Some more targetable buffs in the game would be nice, I really can't fathom why paladins corner that market. |

Besides, why should fade have a different functionality in PvP than in PvE? It should be a way to get aggro off of you in both situations. One of the few advantages that priests have over druids being entirely unfunctional in PvP=teh win.

If it worked the same way in PVP as PVE you'd basically lose all aggro and nobody would be able to target you, clearly that's not going to fly. Simply "losing aggro" so that someone can re-click/-tab/-send pet back onto you is useful how, combo point loss? Currently, fade cannot function the same in PVP and PVE without forcing the opponent to be unable to reagro you in PVP, simulating a massive "hate list" drop in PVE. This is why I think keeping aggro off you (stopping targetting) is more realistic than getting aggro off (removing targetting) in a PVP situation, and completely feasible in PVE. Shrug.

+53 Internets | I'd rather see a holy spell, sanctuary, added to the priest lineup that just makes you completely untargetable for 5 seconds (still subject to AE effects and current effects stay on you). One of the things I hate most about being a raid priest is that we're pretty much gank fodder for rogues. Would at least give us a few seconds to call for help. My 3.5k hp can't stand up to a 1k ambush followed by 2k eviscerate crit. |

Your numbers are WAY off. Ambush does 1.5k crit on a cloth with no PW: Shield, and you can only hit eviscerates like that on a target with almost no armor whatsoever. You also need five points, an Ambush can give you a MAX of three with Seal Fate and Initiative. Too bad most rogues are cookie-cutter 21/8/22 ;/

Zehn, have you considered adding armor to your PvP gear? A number of priests are trying this and finding that it works pretty well at increasing survival rate significantly(along with talents like Improved Inner Fire). If you've got separate gear for PvP/PvE it can't hurt to slap patches on the patchable things, an AC enchant on a cloak, and a couple of librams of tenacity(cheap as dirt) and see if it helps.

And the second they make it deselect someone will just write a mod that auto-reselects. It needs to be untargettable (but not invincible, any AE effects can still kill you)
