Warsong Honor Bug

How many people are not getting the correct amount of honor from Warsong?

Some have said that they never get the bonus honor. Last night I only managed to get into 4 Warsong instances due to a 3 hour Q after getting into 4 with about an hour wait time combined.

I got 300 HK during those 4 and by watching my honor messages I should have gotten 6-8k from those alone. Plus I won all 4 of them for another 6640 honor. Today I log in and see that yesterday I only got 2730 honor?!?! That doesn't make sence on any level.

This is the first time I have had a problem. I have gotten all other honor points pretty much as expected since BG's went live.

What kind of honor bugs are other people seeing?

Diminishing returns on HKs, the message that the game gives you dont take into account how many times you have already killed the guy.

I understand that, but the majority of my kills were fairly well spread out. Without diminising returns I should have gotten 15-20k just form kills. I am basing my numbers also on the average I have gotten in past days from similar HK counts.

For example last Saturday I had 350 HK and only 3 CTF wins but I was awarded over 15k total Honor for that day. I have had numbers in this range on 5 different days sicne BG's opened and this is the first time my numbers have been different than what I have expected.

3 WINS not 3 runs. Was something like 7 runs mostly with random PU groups. thus the low win total.

Just got an in-game cookie cutter email from Blizzard about a ticket I started about this. Typical thank you, and were looking into it BS.

Has anyone gotten a real answer about this bug?

Not getting bonus WSG CP on Suramar either. We were getting the bonus CP last week.

Just talked to a GM who addmited it was a Known bug. He also said that the dev's concider the BG's to currently be in Open Beta and bugs are expected. He had not recived any word about what they were planing on doing about this bug.

Did 5 bg tonight. Got screwed out of the warsong mark once and 5 flag cap reputation/honor bonuses due to being dead. So basically I only got credit for three of them.

God, this shit is stupid. People fucking die in pvp. I guess the person who breaks off from the flagbear and delays 5 enemies for 10 seconds doesn't deserve honor because he died. Just like you don't deserve to loot ragnaros if you're the main tank and die.

How could they NOT have coded the game with people being dead in mind for rewards?

edit: while i'm at it, my fucking map stops working in warsong (shows the two continents) and my druid still rezzes at 60% hp and mana from the horde spirit healer. This shit sucks.

Looks like it's fixed... sort of...

By my count because of the bonus honor bug I only got about 10k of honor last week. Today I log in and see my last week honor at 56k obviously all of my missing bonus honor that got added back in at the end of the week.

Not sure if this is the case for all people or on all servers but it was pretty obviously the case with me. Can anyone else report their results?

That would explain the difference as well.

I ended up with a Standing 52 which seemed about right if I got the bonus honor back, but it may just be that nobody else got the bonus honor either thus lowering the bar.

When we do guild BG groups, we will sit on the flag and wait for all to rez.

You do know that after 4 kills on a person you get 0 honor from killing them subsequently right? It goes 100%-75%-50%-25% to 0.

You say 300 kills in 4 BGs. Assuming you only faced each person once, that's a max of 160 kills that actually added to your score. My bet, however, is that for the most part you were facing the same people, hence the low honor score.

Edit: and yeah the bonus was bugged. It might be fixed now though, or something changed at least.
