I reallllyyy want to get my pvp priest to 60 and geared up, but at the same time I want him to do some of the new content they are putting out and actually have it be useful.

I was thinking this coming week until they disabled Alterac entirely on Wednesday or whenever it was. I knew then that it would be at least 2 more weeks of testing.

They disabled Alterac because they are/were showcasing Gulch at E3...

Sitting in a 30 min Queue to join a game that can be as quick as 5 min only to sit in queue for another 30 min isn't really fun,All the magazine reviewers would certainly give negative feedback on it if that is the sort of thing they experience.

So disable Alterac and you have a ton of players with nothing else to do but Gulch and then you cut queue times down dramatically,The day it was live I was getting into new matches in no more than 5 min I imagine that is what it would be like if all the alterac players were playing gulch instead.

But.. if they only gave horde toons out at e3 then they had 0 wait time and glowing reviews galore =p

How would it reduce wait times? You had fairly long lines, for alliance, at both battlegrounds. But shunting everyone to one, you'd think it would double the line.

ie. 50 people waiting at Alterac, 50 people waiting at Ashenvale. With no Alterac option, now we have 100 waiting at Ashenvale.

Patch after this one for the other Blackrock whatever-the-fuck-it-is...so probably July/August.

I definately see bgs as content. It's not some big open space where's people just kill each other for no reason.

If you want to try and claim pvp has no purpose with the changes that are coming into the game then by the same token pve has no purpose and you might as well just quit playing video games.

Actually life doesn't have a purpose either because we'll all be dust and everything we own will melt to nothing over the centuries anyway. So just let's just have a 6 billion suicide party.
