DDO Trialer - Fileplanet

Stormreach (the city) looks pretty good. Not to sure what the flying ships were but the theme seems pretty good throughout the streets.

The action looks pretty fast. Movement speed of a character seems a good *pace*. The particles on spells / items are not over the top (I dont think you will be siezing like CoH or EQ2).

The 1st chic staring at the boat has some textured armor it seems (omg and some leet purple dagger!!). A lot of the other characters are still showing a "jump suit" look to them. I hope they release some pictures of what various textured armor looks like... betting this will be scene at E3.

Whether the game plays good or bad, when you watch these clips... you do get a DnD feel, which is their Vision(tm). Good work so far hitting that point !

Yeah, but my old GameSpy ID from nine years ago (not joking) still works, so if you ever played Quake or TF back in those days and remember your GameSpy login, it'll let you log in for free downloads with it =P

I just watched the D&DO in-game video. It truly looks good, but maybe a bit too much on the hack'n'slash side, like closer to a 3D-styled Diablo rather than EQ'ish?

The skyboats are a standard part of eberon. They are the favored way to reach the continent where DDO takes place due to lots of unfriendly critters in the water which makes normal boat travel VERY dangerous.

Eberon has a fair ammount of steam punk influances but all in all the setting is pretty intersting.

Good fucking lord that is a lot of bloom effect. That shit is so blurry it makes guild wars looks crisp.

Seriously, it looks like someone smeared vaseline all over my monitor. Most of the video looks like one big colorful smudge.

I turn bloom off in most games that use it.
