God I love this board. For 2-3 months every thread about MC gear has the mandatory "Might gear sucks ass. I'd only use it for PVP" post and 50 parrots squawking in agreement. Now it's made good for PvE and SURPRISE! "WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

At first I thought OMG they were upgrading might finally. But removing all agis? less overall stat? Come on.

And they fucking nerfed the gloves!! The only might I really wanted, now this suck.

Now the question is are they really doing that for each class item? I guess I will have a "purple" set for tanking somewhere and keep a blue set for non tanking and pvp? Is thatwhat we are looking at?

I was just talking shit about this set in /gu the other night, as I was looking at Mag's drop table and wondered if I wanted the chest at all, and since the other three regular wars all had Chromatic, didn't know if ANYONE wanted it except maybe rarespawn or pickups. Now? Might wear it yes.

I did say the gaunts were the only part of the set left I wanted (I have belt) and THAT was just so I could put them in FR set. Now they are hot shit, I will take the defense bonus to my belt for the lost defense on gloves and soak up the rest of it. Less overall stats? Yeah I'm mourning the spirit, too bad so much stamina has been put in its place. And boo hoo on the agility, honestly.

There is ALWAYS something for people to bitch about. I want the gear from MC to HELP ME FUCKING TANK.

In fact I never pvp or so. I have different gear to tank and not tank and it was cool that some part of the might set had some offense bonus imo. I agree it's better for tanking yes but still it suck to lose that 1% crit.

Warriors also do metric fuck ton of damage with the right gear and talents in wow. I don't see any problem with going more offensive since I have never been outdamaged by any other class in my guild yet. This is about pve and not about pvp and I think it was nice to have some options. There are always more warriors that are not tanking then warriors that are tanking in these mmog anyway and most of the time you end up being a damage dealer. Might as well go in and do more then everyone but uber rogues right? (And for non uber rogues and in non raid zone, in my experience warriors easily dominate the DPS departement unless you ae evertyhing or something).

Anyway. So yeah it's a good change I guess, but suck they had to remove all the agi and that crit bonus to do it.

These changes are awesome, thank you Blizzard. If I want PvP gear, I will sink my evening time in PvP instead and get those rewards. As long as I'm sinking it into PvE isntead, I want PvE rewards tyvm.

There wasn't exactly any other way buddy, it's either gear with PvP mods or gear with PvE mods, not a set where the gloves have both 1% crit and 1% parry, alas. The agility is a pity and so are the resists, but I guess it's like I said, one thing or the other.

Eye of rend, deathdealer bp, emberfury talisman, omokk belt, the DM quest gloves, DM legs.... so on and so forth.

If you're doing PVE dps, the traditional warrior dps armor setup is all you need. I have no pity for you, if that is your complaint.




For you PVP folks, I feel you, but you gotta understand that when we do PVE we want PVE rewards. You wanna do PVP, go for it, and get your PVP rewards. They are there for you, built for you, as you want them. And I will not argue if, down the line, you PvPers claim that the effort to maintain the rewards is too steep. All I'm simply saying is that the itemization should be approporiate for the type of tasks involved with getting the items
