Anyone else playing in Dungeon Siege 2 beta?

I just DL'ed this and started playing and at first it's sorta of gay I don't like the view you get. But once you get out of the town it is really really nice. I played for about 4 hours non-stop. The controls are sorta hard and I don't really know how to party up with people online but it's a must and if your fileplanet subscriber be sure to DL this one it's a nice break from WoW.

Yeah that 10 bucks I spent for wow stress test key was the best 10 bucks i spent online. Fileplanet is awesome i get patches and everythang at 3 meg speed.

I liked it better than the first one, but it's still not much more than a souped up Diablo clone. The beta is pretty short.. it ends about 1/2 way thru the first act.

how do you do that? I can't get past the South Gate thing to do some of the quest... the guard there won't open the gate...

Yeah, you gotta go back to town and by the prison. I think your talking about the one by the new teleport station or w/e, if you are then do what I said.

I got in the beta, downloaded the client, then found out that I can't play in my monitors (dell 2005fpw) native resolution and promptly deleted it.

Very few resolutions.

Almost exactly the same as the 1st as far as gameplay

I don't remember quite as much speech in the 1st DS.

VERY unfinished...Totally separate voices on a couple of the speeches being given by the same person is one example.

Not much really TO report.Feels more like DS 1.75 than a DS 2.0
