+28 Internets | Pics looking really good, but that one with the rolls of carpet looks really out of place cause none of the objects on the ground cast any shadows, looks goofy. Hell, nothing but the PC is casting a shadow in that picture, makes it look really strange. |

| Caucasoids unite! The brother looks good! Needs more silver clasps and such to make his outfit pop imo. I truly appreciate the art direction here. Quote:

| of course their hair dreads in fantasy games if it's long I don't think medieval peoples had exactly invented Prell, yet plus even if they did have soap or magical cleaning spells, you really think your badass warrior with war-scarred weapons and armor is going to want to make sure his hair is sqeaky clean? I'm sick of movies and games that make medieval characters out to be some shiny, Justin Timberlake version of themselves. Go watch Braveheart, you'll notice most people are encrusted with Dirt, dust, grime, and pus. Their hair is greasy and at best kept in a style that emphasizes practicality rather than fashion. Their clothing is homespun, and their armor, while well-cared for, also looks well-used and rough. Of course some people were cleaned up or dressed better, but these were principally noblemen, clergy, wealthy merchants, etc--- i.e. NONCOMBATANTS, you're not going to go tromping around the 6th level of the Dungeon of Terror wearing your best shiny gold-fluted booties and silk tunic embroidered with platinum brocade. Of course, magical equipment might look a bit more impressive than the average jousting breastplate, and mage/caster etc classes might not be as filthy and battle-worn as your average barbarian or fighter, but I think thusfar in video games the characters usually look a bit too clean for my taste in what High Fantasy should look like. |

| "Ancient peoples found their clothes got cleaner if they washed them at a certain spot in the river. Why? Because human sacrifices were once made on the hills above this river. Year after year, bodies burnt. Rain fell. Water seeped through the wood ashes to become lye. The lye combined with the melted fat of the bodies, till a thick white soapy discharge crept into the river. The first soap was made from the ashes of heroes ". Such a handy film to steal quotes from. |
