+45 Internets | Would be nice if Hyjal alliance would come somwhere other than fucking hillsbrad, if only to even out the load on the goddamn servers. Hillsbrad is fun for about 30 minutes at a time, then you get about an hour of unplayable lag. I don't mean poor framrates or a bit of casting delay, I mean instant spells never going off - you just get "action already in progress" over and over until you die. |

| anyways.. Another night of pvp a bit after some raiding and with some comparison of cont points here's a couple more thoughts. First off they simply have to tell us contribution points on the fly after a kill. People have to understand that 40 guys killing one guy gets you dick all. People have to understand that killing some guy over and over gets you dick all. After that maybe people won't be decimating questing towns over and over and there will start to be some actual pvp. Also they simply need to update our ranks every night. One week is just way too long. |

| I hope they tinker some the honor system, could increase the honor gain for the outnumbered faction. What I really wonder is if any healer class that only healed and rezzed checked their points yet and what number they had for what amount they did. (lets not talk about how wortless it is to heal in a lagfest) How exactly does the system balance out the fact that some have massive AE abilities or at least can nearly kill a clothclass outright, vs those who cant? |

| Well, one guy in my guild said he had 11 kills yesterday and 410 contribution points from Hillsbrad. I had 56, over half of them solo, and got 825 contribution points. So yeah, this is great. |

+1 Internets | Running an active census of Horde/Alliance numbers and applying some sort of bonus like Planet Side did would be great. I'm alliance myself, but the outnumbered horde really could use a boost.

| Well, it's not that bad in terms of getting points really. I mean, I've got a 4.6:1 active ratio on my server (PvE) and that tends to mean I can plop into TM day or night now and gank a ton of points. Winning a protracted fight is another matter of course and let's just forget about fighting through an Alliance city or getting any of the shitty SV arena awards. Heck, as best I know the arena is pretty much uncontested at present. |

| All I can really suggest is killing solo or duoing, maybe trioing. A priest and mage combo farmed honor the night of the patch and today had over 8000 contribution points, compared to 4000 or so of everyone else. |

| The game's classes and balance is designed in such a way that numbers trump skill and gear generally Which is why imbalance sucks when its 80 vs 40 because similar leveled even if the 40 are MC geared, the 40 will lose (w/o tons of guards and lag at least!) |

| I can't believe some alliance who was looking for a fight by attacking TM had the gall to post about it here. I don't attack feathermoon then complain no one shows up. 1300 kills, 9,811 honor my first day. Most of it grouped. Most kills from a 30 man raid. Spent the second day almost entirely solo. Will be interesting to compare. As far as I know, honor works just like exp. Your group/raid kills someone, then it it divided among them. So you son of a bitch healing classes who don't buff or heal, I suggest you start if you want us DPS to group with you. Oh and btw. I hate you alliance faggots. Die. |

+14 Internets | Horde/Alliance were both pretty even in terms of numbers on my server. That is until you would get some moron orc warriors charging 30 alliance alone, allowing us to pick them off one by one. I think alot of them are foreign to the concept of skirmish too. I netted mass kills sniping people who lingered too long ;p That and moron rogues who dont realize my felhound = better stealth detect hehehe ;P

| sorry for the likely dumb question, where do you see your points? i've seen my kills. Also, when the rank, HK Private etc. goes across my screen, is that telling me my rank or the rank i killed? thanks. Southshore is a zerg, too laggy to melee. its all about AEs and sniper shots. I get to run in and fear every now and then. not a bad tactic as a few of their dorks get feared from their pack into ours, and are summarily dropped.

| Top dog on my server as of yesterday is a rogue who basically stealth ganked / stunlocked 100 solo kills, netting around 10,000 points. My measly 400 kills, with about 50 solo kills, 50 5man kills, and 300 in a 40 man guild raid roving around the world netted 4,000. Magic 8-ball says, if you do 100% of the damage on a same-ranked (or at least the lowest rank) enemy of the same level, you get 100 points. And obviously those points get chopped up 1st based on damage and 2nd split amongst a group with simple bonuses applied. So, yeah, solo is the way to go because if someone has, say, 3k hitpoints and I land a 1,500 mind blast and the 40 man raid next to me does the other 1,500 hitpoints I'm getting 50 points while they're getting 5/4ths of a point + whatever raid bonus applies. Plus, it's far more entertaining. I hate the population imbalance so it's far more enjoyable to run around and get into difficult fights (being outnumbered). Yes, I "jump" or "gank" people, but they need to be aware that I'm on 3 hours a day to run around and kill players. |
