well, contribution points for yesterday went up. I had 511 kills and ended up with 6358 contribution points. Some of those kills were spent in a raid, but most of them were solo or with a druid buddy.

Why can't you just PvP and have fun knowing you are getting points? Why do MMORPG players have to fucking min/max everything?

God forbid when people enter a competition they actually try to win.

190 kills for 1596 Honor, about 170 of those in a zerg raid. I was certainly contributing heavily in terms of damage during the raids (heavy on the Blizzard as an arc/ice mage).

It would seem that solo is the preferred method. Then again, after even only one day, it would seem that this is all still bullshit anyhow.

I'm expecting my 591 kills today to not mean anything. Soloed for a while but then joined a raid in the area. Whats retarded on a PVE server is the volume of people. At one point there was 3 30 person raids roughly on each side. The game just started/stopped constantly, people faded in and out every few seconds (guaranteed if you ever intercept on charge), and every few seconds a kill was added. I can't see my contribution meaning much because I'd end up running up to someone with intercept, they disappear, come back, maybe hit them once, game slows down again, then they just died. Every 3 minutes toss an intimidating shout to bust up the opposing side, kills roll in. The bone piles every 2 steps probably didn't help...they need to make corpses fade the second someone reses up.

Also being on a PVE server, if you spank them too badly (ie, go into TM and just sit inside the town giving them no real safe spot to respawn), the other side gives up. So we'd clear TM, then every 15 minutes "everyone back out so they won't give up". Wait on a hill, they come out, repeat. Granted you can't control the actions of other players, but that just felt really retarded to "win" then have to give up to keep playing.

I seriously pity anyone ever trying to quest or solo anything in Hillsbrad.

There's a big problem with contribution points and faction bosses. Right now faction bosses are worth a LOT of points and respawn fairly quickly (1-2hrs?). On an alliance heavy server if you want contribution points basically you get a zergball and camp undercity or thunderbluff. This would be fine if like the sides were even but with a big imbalance it makes like actual pvp not worth it. Of course if they actually listened to their beta testers and made changes that would result in more people playing horde we wouldn't have this problem would we?

Hit 1,000 kills tonight.,

On Arthas the horde is busy being pussies and is pretty much getting beaten back into a city just about everywhere. On patch day PRX killed Cairne, Vamilthras(the demon guy by the queen), Rexxar(thought he gave honor =\) and got sylvanas to 35%. The horde didn't even try any of the main cities, they can't go anywhere for long without being zerg stomped.

I am interested in finding out specifically what the best ways to farm points are. I imagine that doing the AE business on someone elses raid might be good, but I think I'm going to stick with my original guess of 5 man PVP.

On a single day someone needs to have a level 60 kill a single level 60 horde solo, then log off and see what his contrib points. Then another 60, on that day, needs to five man a single horde, and then they need to have another 60 go kill a factional leader and little else, and then finally a 60 in a 40 man or large raid go kill a single horde, and see what all of their contrib points are... or something.

You just make me laugh sometimes.

Lets face facts here, shall we? The average WoW player sucks. I mean, he sucks living shit. It doesn't matter what side he's on...horde, or alliance. When good players get in an area, they can stomp the living hell out of the opposing force even being outnumbered.

What strikes me as funny is the fact that you in particular keep claiming how fuckin hardcore you are, even tho you're on the faction that has the 3 to 1 population imbalance, so you guys bring a zerg force EVERYWHERE and fight an unskilled minority and claim you kick ass.

If you were really as badass as you think you are, you'd be playing horde and killing 120 alliance with your 40 man raid.

Horde? Screw that.

Arthas needs to be turned into a FFA server. That's what I'm talking about.

They also need to remove guards completely.

They also need to remove flagging for level 48+ players.

Or make a server that has these features and let the people transfer to it freely.

Garandamntee you I'd be there.

And yes, the horde is severely outnumbered by the alliance currently. It's like they haven't been logging on much recently. It's weird, and trust me, Elk knows all.

I'm on Blackhand as well. Flew to TM, lag was so bad insta effects took approximately 2 seconds to fire. I dont really see how any decent pvp can happen with lag that bad. It just becomes a matter of luck and who has more bodies. There wont be any good PVP on the PVE servers until battlegrounds since it seems like nobody flags until they have a nearly zone crashing zerg force.

Late last night when we fought with orgrimmar(there was no substantial horde anywhere else), we were at around 10-20 second casting lag.

Hard to defend towns when Alliance has, oh, 100 people to your 30 horde.
