WoW Server Lag

Does anyone else experience moderate to severe lag any time there's a large PvP battle going on somewhere on your server?

I've played on two different pvp servers and any time there is a huge battle in hillsbrad or somewhere else, the entire server suffers.

With the advent of the honor system, a lot of PvP takes place and seems to lag the entire server.. I think they need to allow more server transfers or add more servers or something. ><

there was a major battle in like 4 places on Mal'Ganis earlier, lag was pretty bad.

And by pretty bad I mean all encompassing horror.

Lag on Azgalor is horrible and you can't do anything.

Normal run of the mill 20 vs 40 stuff is handled fine. But today

everyone came back to see the much hyped honor system

as expected there were no less than 200 people attacking tm(could have been more but i had to back off due to the slideshow that was tm.)

20 or so eveywhere else.

tm was a slide show. UC was just as bad but xroads was smooth.

I ran a census and saw about 1400 horde on.. that would mean alliance probably had close to 4500 on at the same time.

2-3 days it will be back to normal.

On Medivh I can't do anything. We're pretty much outnumbered everywhere and can't manage to defend anything (I play Horde, of course). I logged and tried to play my alt druid, but I pretty much would attack a mob, lag for 2 minutes, and then end up dead.

WTB "Undo" button for patches.

My ping averages anywhere from 28-74 on Shattered Hand. Tonight, i was hitting 3k.

The lag was near unplayable...you could barely move in Org.

I called it a night when my ping (normally 30-80 ms) hit 10800, in an instance no less.

I swear alliance outnumbers horde 10 to 1 in some places. The only thing i've managed to do is go find a shady spot and get some XP to fill out my last 5 levels

Over 20 second delays on commands makes it hard to PvP. I followed a priest for a few hundred yards, always within 0-20 yards of him, and intercept said "Too far away!" the entire time.

250ish Alliance and 150ish Horde in Tarren Mill caused my server to crash!

I don't know, it was pretty damn good for me actually. Did about an hour of zerg zerg in TM with I'd guess 50 versus 100 or so and only had one crash and relatively little lag overall.

That was with everyone AEing their asses off of course and still I could pick out single targets easily if I were so inclined. There was little point though as Alliance seem to think that Blizzard is some sort of healing wave and are drawn to it like moths to flames. That'll be the end of my pvp fix until battlegrounds I figure.

100v100+ TM/SS is completely unplayable.
