The current BT patch system is horrible. Thank god for mirrors.

I really REALLY like not being able to do ANYTHING while i wait for the patch. I cant open webpages, cant get on any other games that connect to the internet.. its horrible.

I really dont get this fucking patching system. One of the first patches I couldnt get it to DL, so I unhooked my router and it flew through it after that. Then the last one I didnt do anything and it worked great, so I thought cool it works better now. Now this patch I get no DL speed, unhook the router and STILL get like 7kb. WTF is this shit. I never changed anything from last patch to this one.

I dont think that's supposed to happen. Doesnt happen when I use the BT patcher.

Their BT system (the basic one, where you cant change maxupload/download etc) really screws me. I'm on a basic DSL connection, and I get bout 70kb/s download and upload about 30kb/s. With both those going at once my connection becomes soooo slow and bogged down I cant do jack.

/shrug, I just like having the mirrors a lot more. Filecloud (I dont mind waiting 10 minutes to start my download heh~) and such works fine for me

while i dislike the BT client - and know others have issues with it.

i have Yet to have a PROBLEM with it.

this last patch i got all 32+ meg in under a minute.

why i get a good connection (comcast) all the time- no idea- but i've never had a problem with patching anything since release.

i have a mirror setup on my messageboard -for those that wish to bypass the bt client and don't feel like standing in line

last patch i used almost 50 gig of bandwidth for those that didn't want to deal with the BT.

that site can handle ~2000dl's of the patch without a problem with exceeding my bandwidth for the month..(yes i keep track just in case)

Maybe i missed it, but i didnt see the rogue ambush changes in the notes on the patcher, I do however see it on WoW site, just not in the patcher itself.

On the VN boards there are reports coming in of quest logs being wiped clean....

Bank being empty....

Mail system being empty.....

Fuck all Blizzard!

Flurry was stealth nerfed to affect only 2 attacks instead of the previous 3 (even though the description still says 3)

When I logged on, my quest log had been reset back to last week. Which completely blows because I was on the last part of my Onyxia key.

download completed in 5 min, 51 seconds

never had problems with the patcher myself, although i can see why people with bandwidth caps or slow connections might? mine was going at about 120kbytes/sec for most of it
