| my logic applies fine, it's theirs that is faulty. obviously there is an artificial hit/miss barrier based on level, however I would hope that within the possible level range that you can hit that defense would play in to it. i have trumpeted the idiocy of artificial hit/miss barriers since launch. why they do that is beyond me - it's stupid. it should be melee power + weapon skill vs. defense + AC there's your to hit formula. if used correctly, lower level stuff wouldnt be able to hit higher level stuff anyway due to disparities in skill levels. hardcoding limitations is gay.

| I think in a really long session of Farming overthe course of several hours and a couple bag refills...something like 5000 shots later VS mobs around my lvl I missed or had a shot deflected a grand total of maybe 50 times and thats probably a high figure. Basically what I am saying is for all the time that I played my hunter when I played this game ,missing was just never an issue. It almost never happened, unless again it was against something higher level than me or during the time I switched from Guns to bows and had a low skill. the Defense figure makes sense I guess but really no matter how you put it its a nerf to the class since its only going to increase your miss rate since hunters never really had a miss rate in the first place.Nothing like Melee anyway. Maybe thats why the change was made I don't know. |

Yeah, didn't mean from gear alone, sorry for the confusion. I have heard of a few warriors getting in the high 40s though, so it is possible.

+1 Internets | Cruelty 5 Axe Specialization 5, some random good axe Helm of Wrath/Lionheart Helm (8 agi, 1% crit, 2% from Lionheart) Eldritch Reinforced Legplates (9 agi, 1% crit) Stronghold Gauntlets/Reiver Claws ( 1% crit) Blackhands Breadth (2% crit) Vambraces of the Sadist (1% crit) Omokk's Girth Restrainer (1% crit) Breastplate of the Chromatic Flight (10 agi) Mark of Fordring/Emberfury Talisman (1% crit) Blastershot Launcher (1% crit) Sabatons of Wrath/Boots of Avoidance (9 or 11 agi) Magni's Will (1% crit) Painweaver Band (1% crit) Stoneskin Gargoyle Cape (8 agi) Pauldrons of Might (10 agi) Without enchants, agi would add 2.6% crit. Talents add 10%, 11% crit from equipment, just off the top of my head thats what I came up with. Someone posted on the WoW forums a build with potions and enchants getting 45% crit. | honor rankings I haven't found any documentation of what it actually takes to progress through the ranks, but I'm curious.... Is it X number of kills? Is it based on changing whoever has the most kills for your side? Is there a hard cap on how many Marshals or Warchiefs there can be?

He was mixing and matching gear of every sort. He had some mail on, he had some leather....anything to max out the crit and I don't think he had more then one-two epics. It's impossible to maintain that high of a crit rate due to dependence on potions and buffs, though....still, the goal was to see how high he could go, not how high was viable .Warriors can get damn high, though, I can hit 35% in fury stance myself.

| I look at those armor set pictures and I think to myself... Why the fuck does Blizzard think giant lucrative shoulderpads = $$$? It wouldn't look half bad if you didn't have a fucking silverware drawer sprouting from your back. |

| I think the shoulderpads go with the whole over-the-top look they are going for with the game. I like the look of most of the armor sets, the cloth sets especially. The only two I dislike are warrior and hunter (and unfortunately I'm a warrior). |
