PvP rewards can be earned solo, and some of the weapons are superior to PvE alternatives. A 2h axe with 30 stamina, 1 % crit, 3.8 speed, and 295 max damage? Yay for warriors.

Encouraging newbie PK twinks is a Bad Thing, mmkay?

2.What is wrong with participating in PvP as you level to 60?

You're telling me that a L20 in full level-appropriate blue/resist/STA gear isn't going to have a noticable advantage over Joe Bloggs in the typical mix of AH/quested/tradeskill equipment?

Not nearly the same as twinking in EQ. "No twinking" may be too bold, but it is certainly a much lower scale of twinking.

I assume you have yet to see a level 20 paladin duelling other level 20s with Verigan's fist.

I don't know. A well twinked character at lower levels can have more than twice the hp/mana pool of an equal level untwinked character. I'd say that makes a pretty big difference.

Yeah but most of the twinkie gear iis BOP from instances while leveling.

The bottomn line is that regular joe schmoe can be just as effective in PvP as the "twinked" player.
You can buy all the blue shit you can, but if you suck in PvP you will stil loose.

The diffrence between a green outfitted player and the twinked is not that much diffrence. Its the way the game was designed

If you dont suck at PvP then you wont be attacking shit you cannot kill. You will be going after targets that you can kill 80-90% of the time regardless of gear, that is wile soloing.

Besides anybody can do 3-5 runs through WC and be well equipped at Lv20. Same like the guy dropping 100G to twink out.

/shrug

I still dont see the huge advantage you guys are pointing out.

That's a whole 'nother fucking subject. Equally 'skilled' players is an assumption in the conversation of twinking making your character quite a bit more powerful at lower levels.

Its just another piece of the puzzle man, just like what class you are and what class you attack, who gets the jump on the other, what lev, what skill level. gear is in there but its just a piece of the puzzle, not a guaranteed win.

There is too many variables to just say , yep, a twinked character will defeat an untwinked one. I call that bullshit.

Like I know at least 90% of the time when I have a 20 rogue with shit gear jump a 20 Shaman with blue uber drops I will still drop him almost every time.

Or like my 40 shaman with shit gear can take out a uber equipped mage If I have the jump on him.

Not true.
Get a level 50/60 mate to walk you through wailing caverns at 20. Every quest and every mob can be steamrolled with next to no effort. That's twinking.

In EQ you could have a LV10 dude with a fungi, some 25%+ haste sash, some 20/10 weapons, other uber items, chewing through content untill lv50 with no probems.

In wow you can take that WC equipped dude and he is just marginaly better equipped than anyone else. And definitely not blowing through content like the dude from EQ. Gear is all level restricted, how can you even compare an unrestricted game like EQ against a LV resricted game like WoW?
