death coil? That's the last hope spell when you need some healing =P When you need DD done, you can chose between bolt and pain, I kinda like pain with the higher crit rate and the fast casting time. You can absolutly forget Bolt when you are hit. Last edited by Quineloe : 04-16-2005 at 06:13 AM.

| Shadow burn + death coil are instant-cast spells. Most players usually have a threshhold of HP left before they chug a potion vs. a caster...they are expecting a cast time. That double combo is frequently enough to catch them by surprise. Plus if I fear kite a player enough times and they start to get immunity, I want some mobility. Being able to cast on the run is a huge life saver. And that's to say nothing about improved shadow bolt debuffs ![]() Improved shadow bolt makes me use SB alot more often...the dmg increase on shadow-based criticals with that debuff makes it far more worth it. See, thats the main problem with searing pain. The damage on crit is nice, but it gives far too much leeway for them to HEAL themselves. You need to make a player panic. Big numbers makes them sloppy and be afraid, making for an easier kill when they run. Eating 250ish dmg, 500 on crit SP doesnt instill the same fear as 1000+ dmg SB crits ;p

| Nice stuff, but...ummm, the system just plain sucks. I dont know why they didnt go with just a streight up point system, i.e. Kill 100 people in your range get some item. Kill 500 people get some better item. Finally, kill 1000 people get your epic. Sorry but they are catering to the 24/7 fucktards. And im not denying that they should have the best stuff. But at least with a streigth up point system like I mentioned above, be it a month, be it a year, being a part time payer I still have at least a chance at that gear eventually if I keep at it long enough. But this idea that they outlined just sounds like shit. Not only do you have to grind your fucking ass off to get the shit, you have to KEEP on grinding your ass of to keep wearing it. GAY

If there was an npc that would randomly pick your opponent i don't see it being too exploitable.. no more exploitable then going to some random corner with 10 people and just picking an order to kill eachother in.

Where do most Lv60's go right now? They fucking run instances day and night. And because of this I forsee Alliance zergs cockblocking the instances racking up points like a mo-fo. You will be killed on the way in, and on the way out.

WTF? PVE server? You have nothing to worry about then do you? You can happily go about doing your Pve shit without any recourse.

And I don't see people who are looking for pvp kills finding that much at zone entrances, atleast on my server.

The PVE server comment was in regard to your "alliance zerg" comment which is simply not true for PVP servers. Quote:

+18 Internets | Oh, and on PVP servers, they need to make level 50+ always flagged. Right now on Arthas if my guild gets our PVP zerg on, the only good place that will have any challenge is Orgrimmar or one of the other main cities. We then get to play the flagging game where half of the horde are too big of pussies to flag, until one of the more outspoken horde people come and do the '1-2-3 flag' manuever that is bothersome as well. |
