Raid Content Gap Why is it that there is absolutely no raid content for the medium sized raid?s I know lots and lots of people who don't like being in 70man guilds just to be able to do something other than a 5man instance. Why is there no content for those guilds who like to raid with 20-25 people? This seems to be a vastly ignored segment of the wow population. I was always under the impression wow would have lots of content for this range and less for the massive raid zergs like in eq.

I went on a MC raid awhile back with almost 40. I have to say it was some of the most boring shit I've experienced since EQ1 raiding. Yet another zone with massive trash spawns, huge hps bosses, and hours upon hours of time investment for a few rewards. There was absolutely nothing special about it. So far 40 man raids seem to be EQ1 v2, bugs, poor loot and all. I would love to see some 15-30 person content that goes beyond sending waves of mobs and killing tons of trash for a boss with 2 loots.

Yeah the fact that MC is one of the most boreing zones ever to do doesn't really make me want to give up a medium friendly guild just for hours of tedium and a slight loot upgrade. But now, our guild can't do anything togeather. Yes UBRS was trivial and starting to wear on us but damnit, we want to raid togeather!

I did all of my Hillsbrad quests last week on my hunter and I needed damn near the constant supervision of multiple level 60s in the top Horde guild on that server to help me through it, and I *STILL* got ganked and corpse camped out of more than a few hours of my playtime. With the same high level escorts, STV was still unquestable -- I bought my pages for 1.2g, turned in the quests, and got the hell out of there. Given all that, I'm not surprised or angry about it in the least, this is EXACTLY what I predicted would happen in retail without a solid PvP system in place. I'm not going to be wrong about Battlegrounds, either.

What does that have to do with MC being a terrible zone? Its boreing, and not worth the effort. Raids can be fun, some in eq actualy were. MC reminds me of Plane of Earth or VT when your first learning it. Lame x1000.

There was that WoW campaign map where you had Illidan in a cage, and you were fighting the naga or night elves or someone for control of the cage, to get him back to your base. I imagine something like that would be extremely fun. Almost like a battleground style event without other players, I suppose. As much Warcraft 2 and 3 as I played, WoW feels different. I guess it's just missing the War part.
