WoW patch the 3/18? From WoW-Europe

http://wow-europe.com/en/

Quote:
Patch Preview
Ryann, 08/03/2005
The next patch, which is currently scheduled to go live after our regular realm maintenance on the 18th of March, will feature many useful additions to World of Warcraft, for example

* Meeting Stones, which will make it easier for you to find a group for a dungeon
* Four additional action bars, giving you a total of 48 action buttons
* New flightpaths all across Kalimdor

You can read the full patchnotes here.

Any other info to suggest it is or isn't the 18th?

Heh, there's like a 30+ page no-blue thread of people pissed off that they had to learn the date of the patch from the WoW Euro site, and the US forums get told nothing but "no ETA yet". Now personally I could care less, but I could see how it could be frustrating. I wonder if the reason blue isn't commenting on it is that maybe the US patch will be later than the Euro one - can you imagine the bitching that scenario would produce

Cheers,

Sorran.

Some people need to get a life. I swear, alot of forum jockeys spend more time reading about WoW and talking about it than they do playing it.

perhaps that's because they've spent the last few hours intermittantly logging in to fucking try and zone into an instance, like me.

I wonder if they, too, are logging in to my character sitting AFK because these servers are just so fucking amazing that they should open up a few more.

I find it shocking that prople still find Blizzards lack of communication shocking.

Seriously. Nothing Blizzard does surprises me. Did they hire Absor? Abashi? I am damn I am having some serious flashbacks..

Soon i bet they shut down the boards for 3 years.

"The Boards" are useless, they need to pay someone to pull a board nazi on that motherfucker, delete all the shit and just have literally a bunch of posts that are STARTED BY the fucking moderators, and FOLLOWED UP BY the moderators.

People bitching should equate to sending someone a direct e'mail. THE END. That acts like an amazing filter in and of itself, and we won't have this illusion that The Boards make a fucking difference at all.

Seriously, flush the fucking toilet already.

hah, it would be at most 2 pages with the amount of information, or lack thereof, blizzard puts out. oh, and 1.5 of it would be about some stupid screenshot competition.

The fact that these questions can be asked, even in jest, shows just how bad Blizzard's communication with its playerbase is.

My guild and I have a mentality of speaking with our actions. I don't really care if Blizzard tells me what's going on and what they're doing. All that matters is that they do something.

Why people clamour for words is beyond me.

I won't even go into the shithole that is the retail world/database servers.

I will just touch on the fact that even their forum login servers are down for me 95% of the time.

That's very, uh, caveman of you (and your guild?!) sir.

We however in the new millenium (tm) like a little communication because it shows thought rather than a dev jumpin in and switchin shit around undocumented-like.

Don't forget about all the threads about what servers are down, with no ETA, and the CSMs saying they have no idea what is causing it.
