I'm starting to get fuzzy inside...

Quote:
The raid lockout bug is fixed internally and said fix will be in the next patch. The instance will save your progress at the proper time, and you should go to your raid leader's instance upon zoning in. You will also have access to a new /raidinfo command that shows your remaining time on the saved instance.

Give me a fucking break, the raid lockout bug has been KNOWN ABOUT and around for 2+ MONTHS now... I don't believe jack shit Blizzard says anymore, their communication with the playerbase is almost nonexistent. Yet, we've had about four "hotfixes" in that time, whenever someone makes a video or posts some info that might possibly maybe be exploitable, they're sure to hop on it within a day.

Meanwhile a handful of members in every endgame guild are sitting with dicks in hand, locked out, because they couldn't be there on day 1 when the retarded "flagging" process is going on, to circumvent the retarded bug.

I'll believe it when I see it, and even then it'll be "ABOUT FUCKING TIME JACKOFFS" not "THANKS BLIZZARD!"

This is no more than them telling you..

"We are aware of the problem"

And
"It will be fixed soon"

Andorion please stfu. It's so easy to bitch when they're not doing anything (and right to), but when they're actually fixing something don't say that because they didn't before it's stupid to think that they won't now.

Can someone explain how the fix is going to work?

Presently, you need the same 40 people to log on every night to do MC, with this fix, is this changed? Can I add other people who don't have a saved MC flag? Once(if) I add new people, can I then add the old raid members from before on another night?

I've been fuzzy on the whole concept of the fix and just delt with raids splitting up if you don't have the exact same 40 every night or if someone had a flag for MC from another raid.

thx info

Anyone thinking what I'm thinking? Can you be both a raid leader and a raid participant?

I don't understand how hard it is to give a date. Instead Blizzard does shit backwards. They promise all this stuff in the "next" patch except every single thing they promise has the potential to delay the patch. Scope creap at it's finest.

At this point I'd just like to see progress from them. I'd rather see a good-will patch with some resemblence to a release schedule.

Personally I think if they give a date they are afraid a number of people will cancel their accounts until the patch is out then reactivate.

Makes me remember fondly good old EQ1's Patch Days.

Every Wednesday morning you knew the servers we coming down for the patch... Even if it was small...

You molded your play time around it.

From the way it sounds and common sense determining the way it SHOULD work... you basically zone in the first time with no timer, you get "flagged" with a timer for that instance. Next day if you start a raid, then whoever the raid leader is invites some new people, and when they zone in they get sent to the proper instance with the right timer.

Basically it's going to be EXACTLY the way normal instances work... except you have a reset timer

Yup - you even planned on what you were going to hit because everything (before POP) was up.

The worst thing for me in EQ1 was freaking 1018 and DX9. I was in a guild that was about 4 months behind the trailblazers and thanks to them, my game experience was pretty good.

You are an example of why Blizzard doesn't have any motivation to apply effort.

They can toss you some crumbs and you cheer and get a "warm fuzzy", when in reality this is the exact same thing they've said before about the raid bug.

You can't honestly bitch about this Andorion. I know it's been frustrating(btw, it's been a lot longer than 2 months) but I'm fucking elated that this is fixed internally. I'd been concerned it wouldn't be fixed before the patch was released - who knows, maybe this is what the patch was delayed for to fix.
