| Med Break, I need to order Pizza. http://www.cnn.com/2005/TECH/fun.gam....ap/index.html We all have seen the Photoshopped screenshots before. It was only inevitable this would happen. Enjoy.

| I mean sure it's on CNN...therefore the possibility of truth is about oh 65%. I am waiting for someone to tell me it's a fake article.

I'll add my suggestion - just type /counselling to be throughconnected to a live web chat with your local affiliated psychiatrist. | |

| "Many games incorporate ads and product placements, but such opportunities are limited with fantasy games like Everquest." Hell before we know it the Fantasy MMO genre will die out because it's not compatible enough with in-game adds. |

| Honestly guys this is fucking genius. I wish I thought of it. You know tons of MMOers are ther are piles and sloths. Hell there have even been times where I joined a kickass instance group or started a raid that crossed over into dinner time and I didn't feel like going out to get food (walking to cafeteria aka for college). So the lazy sloths will just type /pizza instead...however what I think they should do is have an address tag file in the EQ folder you can edit so you dont even have to load up the pizza hut site. Type /pizza and it reads the address data file and automatically sets you up. However there needs to be a confirmation box otherwise some idiot will be like OOPS typed /pizza when I mean to just type /puke (or whatever the fuck the EQ2 Emotes are) and hey I have seen some pretty bad typos happen so its possible!

| Because there is just such a HUGE DIFFERENCE between filling out an online form from inside EQ and picking up a phone to order fucking food? I don't get how this "saves time" over any other delivery method of food? ...and I agree with FuckYou: this shit does not belong in a goddamned RPG. Shrug. It's not like theres an IV that doses you with nutrients whenever you type /pizza. And YES, this was previously posted: it's not "new," so, no, it is not fake. http://www.fohguild.org/forums/showt...threadid=13844 http://everquest2.station.sony.com/pizza/ The interesting addition to the CNN story that wasn't previously discussed is that your game account is charged... I'm assuming that just means that whatever credit system you use for your gaming is charged? What if you use gamecards, then you are basically doing the same thing as any internet-ready restaurant or, again, just picking up the phone. Also, I saw this reported on TV on FoxNEWS. COMPUTERS ARE SO CWAZY! Last edited by frott : 03-01-2005 at 10:21 AM. |
