WTF no inspect links anymore!?

Dude I just logged onto WoW and you can no longer link items off someone you inspect...bug!? Please for the love of god someone out there tell me it is because if not that is fucking stupid. Already annoying enough you can't link item links.

The ability to link on inspect was causing lag when lots of PCs were in the same area, according to the recent patch notes.

You know what I REALLY fucking love? I can't link items in private channels. You know how goddamned annoying that can be when dealing with loot?

They posted that it was an unintended side-effect of whatever the lag reducing patch did.

They didn't make it sound as if it was the actual thing that was purposely changed to improve lag or that it would be permanently gone.

Definately annoying, you can use /o for this though (assuming you and everyone else involved in deciding loot is an officer in-game).

wtf, linking loot causing lag? I'm sure there's a bigger motive behind this.

They should just shut off general chat. I'm sure that causes lag too and it's only slightly better than Bnet chat - no big loss there.
