There were serious "break the raid, re-form" bugs for many many months. There was even a bug where you couldn't join a group without logging out and logging in from day 1 until end of Luclin.

And if that work around worked in WoW people would be jumping with Glee. Do you think Kreugen would give a shit if he zoned into a different instance from the rest of his guild and all he had to do was relog to fix it? You're comparing something that was annoying to something that is game breaking :-/
