| It's warcraft without any point to go out to war. They should at LEAST patch in a ghetto BG in their second content patch (I guess they'll be doing quarterly? CoH decided to do one megapatch per 3 months; Blizzard may follow that philosophy...) I don't think people are willing to wait around for PvP forever (in a game setting hyped towards PvP rather than PvE) given the well-earned reputation Blizzard has for taking their sweet time on their projects. Game release dates continually pushed back, a crummy patch to diablo that took a year to release... MMO needs follow-up that's quality, but also done in a reasonable amount of time. Patchtimer.org is a degree of snideness you don't want your playerbase feeling just 3, 4 months in. Cross your fingers for PvP, and not just a content patch with "ooh teh ubar raidses" and meeting stones. ...jesus, meeting stones. Because those roleplayers really need an "immersive" LFG tool. |

+5 Internets | Aside from the main topic... Did Blizzard post something about the game starting at 60, or was that just Tigole? I remember it as something Tigole posted on the b.net forums. If that is the case, something like this is excactly why they do not post or often only post canned responses. If they do make a post beyond the typical copy/paste, the playerbase will chisel it into their memory forever and use it against them at a later date if the opportunity presents itself. I'm not saying Kruegen is wrong in calling them out on this issue, but it's a lose/lose situation for Blizzard and is probably why it's employees seem to be muzzled as of late. |

+2 Internets | Amazingly I'm going to have to concede to Jait on this topic because I do remember him trying to tell people things wouldn't be as peachy as we were expecting them to. Granted you stretch things a bit too far with some of the things you say, but you're right that we bought into the hype and thought we wouldn't be shit on like we have been. I think the only thing that pisses me off more than that is the fact that we were assured it was something that would be fixed by retail. |

| they need to fix the raid instance bug like AFAP. they fix that and alot of the griping currently going on will be gone. they also need a content patch asap. why they are going this long without one, i don't know, but this has been the longest time between content patches the game has had since i first started playing in 2003. |

+5 Internets | I think there is a bit of a difference. On the one hand, people thought Bliz was going to be able to come up with enough content to satisfy the hard-core crowd.. don't think that can ever happen. Though you could make an argument that the more subscribers you have, the more content you should be able to put out, it still takes time to ramp up. On the other hand, I admit, I had no clue they would let something like the raid bug slide for .. what... how long has it been? I mean, that's un-fucking-believable. If someone had bet me $100 that it wouldn't be fixed, I would have taken that bet in a second. The apathy on the part of Blizz is just unfathomable. What are they thinking???

| Kruegen, it is because you are so close to Furor that I am most worried about the state of the game. After all, if it was due to be imminently fixed, I'm sure you would have got the wink and the nod that all is well, but since you are posting this, I am assuming that this bug is currently scheduled to be fixed "blizzard soon" (aka, the 6th of never). Do you think Blizzard is delaying fixing this on purpose? Could any company not be able to fix a bug like this in the months it has existed? |
