Furor is just as helpless as we are. He can talk to developers all day long, but if the engineering management doesn't think it's a priority then it won't get resources assigned to it.

Why the fuck do you think Kreugen is posting this? Because it's the only way to get management to say, "hey this is really becoming an issue...let's get someone working on this."

Neither Furor or Tigole are Mr. Wolf. There is no batphone.

Our raid was just split a few hours ago....all the new guys who'd never been with us got shuttled into a second instance.

No one in either instance had killed any bosses previously....

So, angry, 40+ Horde stormed Stormwind and took the tram to Ironforge.

This, of course, crashed the entire eastern continent on Stormreaver.....

Blizzard needs to speak the fuck up.

What bothers me the most is that you don't have this problem in any other instance.

I can do raid groups in UBRS nonstop but Molten Core / Onyxia are fucked.

That's because Raid instances work differently than normal instances.

I understand that but a coder can take the differences and compare them in about 30 minutes and then fix it up I would be guessing.

Heh, that is very, very unlikely. Even I am not naive enough to think the code is that similar or that easy to look over.

How they save is completely different for one thing. They're meant to work very differently.

It’s well put. Only thing I can really say is re-roll another character and experience the “solid” content of the game again at a slower pace. My question is how many of the people who are 60 already have actually read the lore and writings of the quests? If you did over look it, and acted as another rat in the race to 60, go back and experience it until the issue is fixed, or quit. [/b]
I was in no rush to hit 60. I did every quest that I didn't outlevel, I went to every instance at least twice, I never played more than a four or five hour chunk.

Its unavoidable - if you play the game, you will be level 60.

The point is, they claim that the game "begins" at 60. It does not. It ENDS at 60. And this issue is a large part of that.

I've been to Molten Core on my own character three times because of this bug/shitty design/whatever you will. I think I'm perfectly entitled to complain.

If you think playing alts and seeing mostly the same shit over and over is fun, fine. It's not my idea of fun.

I love how people say, "this is what you get for rushing to 60 and skipping all the 1-59 content!," as if it's some kind of glorious epiphany. Maybe I'm' just a speed reader or something, but I don't see how reading all the NPC quest logs suddenly makes you take an extra 2 months to hit 60. Do people take notes or something?

Level up a second character? Yeah, this is my 4th. thxu beta/open beta.

Alright, so now what? Let's see, either try to 24 man MC because the talent pool on most Horde servers is abysmal and I'm not going to lower my standards, or ally with another guild full of the same retards whose applications we denied a week ago.

Looks like it's nothing but BRS for the next 2 months! Then some of our more casual members catch up and we can attempt to tackle MC with 30-40. Back in beta when it only took them a month and a half to fix the SM crash bugs, I'd have had faith that in 4-6 months they could fix the raid lockout bug...but now...hahahah.

I was the first person to 60 on Hyjal - and I did 99% of the horde quests. The only level I did any grinding for was level 59 - and that was because everyone else was behind me and I couldn't do the BRS/BRD instance quests alone. I pretty much purely quested my way to 60.

Anyone who pulls out the skipping content arguement for the people who hit 60 fast are straight up retarded and do not know what they're talking about.

Get your attention? Because this is your fault. And now you want us all to go and bump shit they shoulda taken care of long before release.

There's no question this is a game-stopping bug. This is something you should never have to stomach in a post-release product. But you do, and you will next time. But what makes Blizzard different from any other MMORPG company? That's been my question for over a year. And while most of you were blindly shouting Blizzard was the Jesus Christ of altruism, the truth was already well known, long before release. Sure, there's no reason to not have a "KNOWN ISSUES" page, along with catagories ranging from "Severe" to "working as intended". In fact this is a no-brainer. But see, if they do this, then they actually have to work based on priority and not what some nerds whim'o'day.

They found a system that works. You pay them, and they do what they want, when they want. There's ZERO motivation to actually put in a system that works. After 5 years, you haven't learned that?

Not saying I don't empathize, but fuck, you're still on issue 1 with all MMORPGs (Communication), how many years later? Get real. They might fix this *bug*, but the "Problem" isn't going to be fixed until you chumps stop doling out free cash to whatever game is currently being pimped by your GLs. And when the next Game-stopping bug comes along, you'll be right back here at square god-damn 1, like always. There's plenty of real people who would love to play an honest to god finished game, but you masses just wont let us.

Quality be damned, Foozle says we must play Zork, so we must play!

You can't.
I guess Battlegrounds/PVP Honor not being in on a PVP server isn't exactly a bug, but 1) It's the validation a lot of people had for being on a PVP server, and most importantly, 2) it's the rationalization some of us had for even bothering with another MMORPG.

The "unique and well crafted" honor/rewards/bg not being in place is basically a game stopper for me. Sure, I could be butting heads with boring/broken content to gear up for when that magical day comes, but that is just a horseshit hook - no thanks.

The whole "they are putting everything aside so they can work on battlegrounds" arguement is bull.

I doubt battlegrounds will even be in the next content patch.

Even if it was. I would bet that everyone would flock to the battlegrounds the first week after patching, get cockblocked again by whatever bugs are crippling battlegrounds (instance server unable to sustain said amt of people, instance queueing, broken quests, exploits to kill each other as a result of bugs...) and than be forced to look at the raid instance lockout bugs again.

I think its clear what we want. Its not for them to hurry the fuck up with the next content patch so that we can go frolick in dire mual. I think what we want is them to start hot fixing issues so we can play the game we love, in zones that would tide us over till the content patch (coming soon in 2019).
