| when you fill in the form for the trial is it suposed to get back to the same form once u subscribed or is the website just buggy (or does it just do that if you have a free acount instead of a paying one because they couldn't be bothered to make a page to tell you to upgrade?) & if that's normal usually how long does it take to get the key mailed? |

| Unless the trial is specially tweaked to give better performance, its a pretty accurate comparison to the real game in the retail version - barring the performance loss that some lighting options can do in dungeons. |

| EQ2 is very RAM intensive. If you dont have at least a gig in your machine, EQ2 will drag you down to the bowels of frustration.

+20 Internets | No tweaking yet, but he hasn't really done anything intense. He's still got free-ram available, it's using about 300 in the Isle I think, once I came to FP it went up to 400, he'll probably complain then. |

| Demo ran fine with 512 and I thankfully have a whole extra driive that's empty so I can put a bigass swapfile on that. Overall, the game looks to be much more my speed than WoW. I never really liked the art style of WoW that much and it bothered me more than I realized until I logged into EQ2. I'm gonna pick it up today, and I can always grab more RAM down the road a little bit. It'll be a while before I'm raiding or anything anyway, obviously. |

| I dont know man, my little bro had a pretty beffy system. P4 2.5 ghz 6800 GT OC and 512 Rambuss memory. And no matter what he did settings wise, the game became a crawl in the citys. So we scrapped his system, got a AMD 64 3800, 2 gigs of meory, his 6800 GT, a new mo bo, and a raid 0 and his shit flies now in EQ2 or any game for that matter. I attributed his bad performance to his ram. Maybe SoE improved their performance since EQ2 released. /shrug
