+19 Internets | Raid Management AddOns? Was going to ask in the Raid DKP thread but that thing is getting ugly. I'm looking for an AddOn that will track raid attendence and also automatically change loot rules from group to master on named mobs. Does anyone know if one exists or can someone make it for the programming inept? Would be nice if the attendence could export to a txt file. Also possible to have it keep track of who received what? And can someone tell me what the (A) means when you promote someone in raid? Thanks ![]() |

| zarc i am going to be looking to see if i can hack up a mod of mapnotes and the "friend window" raid part" to see if i can manage to get the raid list to write to a file like map notes does on a sidenote, your main CMS for your guildswebsite i'll have a raid loot management database ready for you in a week or so...finalizing the format now and testing it's initial functionality...(input form works great, just working on the final format for viewing) the only thing i am still debating on is how i am going to do the mob/loot list part... most likely i will separate the mobs by zone and then the loot per mob...its not hard to do in the cms i gave you. |

| Zarcath's site (which i host)(http://transcendence.ofwarcraft.net) uses Mambo(http://www.mamboserver.com/) 4.5.1a a php based Content Management System that is pretty easy to use(i mean I was able to get it up and running...if I can do it, someone with a modicum of knowledge can have a field day) & setup and VERY versitile on what it can do/provide. personally i really like it. so far he has an events calendar capability, etc..(www.mamboforge.net) has a ton of modules and components for another site i run i added in everquest 2's javascript newsfeed as a module (took all of a minute to do) to that site (www.brawlers-pit.com) zarc is trying wowrankings for his guild roster so i added a wrapper integration with the roster of the guild so that with one click on the menu the content portion of the page changes to wowrankings and shows the guild page. irc style chat room cabability(not on his site yet he hasn't asked for it) you can have phpbb integration into the site -i choose to go with stand alone forums) ventrilo server status monitor(again he has not asked for this yet) etc forms and database manipulations (not on his site yet but i am doing it for MY guild and since both use Mambo...) a Variety(few hundred) of free templates(and alot of not free) to use(both table and tableless formats) (i used the subblack template for both the forums and the site) and it is not hard to make inside of mambo i am making a raid loot entry DB section... if you have permission to use the db entry form.. drop down selection list of month day year, your roster , the zone the item was acquired in. the mob selection will alter depending on the zone you selected (so the mobs will be zone specific) and the loot table will be the known loot of of said mob, so loot will be mob specific as well for mobs i am going with "named" only in the list and a "generic mob tag" for anything off of "yard trash" i am still debating as to whether or not to just toss in EVERY known item in the game for selecting or have just text entry for the random green stuff that drops... text entry would be the easiest way to do it, but i think it might be cool to have all the items(names only at this time eventually i might add linkage to item picture/stats) at your fingertips with one click of the mouse... to keep the roster up todate with people who quit and people who join would take a minute to add 0;name to the list since people occasionally sign up for sites and or change their character main. if i wanted too i could have it do name by registered users of the site.. |

| Hmm sounds like your addon is great, but only usable by mambo users. Do you know of anymore such systems that are stand alone? EQDKP system was good. My guild doesn't do DKP, but we would like to keep track of who looted what, and when.

| while it will be mambo only, the basic code is the same and it would be fairly simple to integrate it into pretty much any system out there, forms and database manipulation in mysql is pretty standard stuff. i mean I can do it, if I can do it,anyone with common sense can. |
